JoyRide staffers canvas the country for A Hero's Passing Pre-Releases

CHARLOTTE, NC (March 31, 2006) -- A Hero's Passing is shaping up to be the best Fullmetal Alchemist TCG set yet. Extras like a foil in every pack, Player's Choice chase reprints, four theme decks instead of the regular two, and voice-actor signed insert cards, means this set should be a blast for players everywhere.

The A Hero's Passing Pre-Release Weekend (April 28-30) is also shaping up as the best FMA TCG Pre-Release yet. We've added several new stores in new cities, and that means even more players will be able to take part in all the Pre-Release fun! Like all FMA TCG Pre-Releases, everyone who plays in a Hero's Passing Pre-Release will receive a copy of the exclusive foil A Hero's Passing card. The current pre-release list can be found here.

In addition the regular Pre-Release events, JoyRide Entertainment will sponsor personal appearances by the JoyRide staffers throughout the country. Like the Premier Edition Launch Party events, JoyRide staffers will fly all over the country to participate in select A Hero's Passing Pre-Release events, and they'll be bringing lots of extra goodies for all the boys and girls!

Anyone who defeats a JoyRide staffer in a tournament will receive one box of A Hero's Passing booster packs as a prize. There will also be chances to win a Gunslinging card by defeating a staffer in a gunslinging game -- bring your "A" game! If you don't have time for a gunslinging match you can still stop by and receive a copy of each staff member's exclusive staff card!

As if all that wasn't good enough, the staffers will be bringing Transmutation binders with them to hand out at their tournament stops. The winner and a random player at each of those tournaments will receive a copy of the exclusive Transmutation binder two months before they are available to the general public!

About Fullmetal Alchemist TCG

Based on the top-rated anime series on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim, JoyRide Entertainment's Fullmetal Alchemist TCG released in August with a 240-card Premier Edition base set, which has been followed by two expansion sets: Blood & Water and Artificial Human. The next expansion set, A Hero's Passing, comes out May 10 and will include over 200 cards, including chase-template reprints of previously printed cards.
