JoyRide Entertainment announces 2006 convention exclusive for Fullmetal Alchemist TCG

CHARLOTTE, NC - February 22, 2006 - JoyRide Entertainment is pleased to announce Transmutation, a special limited-edition binder set filled with high-demand cards - some never seen before - that will be available for purchase at select anime and gaming conventions throughout 2006 and via the FMA TCG web site.

Transmutation will consist of a full-color deluxe hardcover binder, featuring a casual shot of Fullmetal Alchemist's main character, Edward Elric, on the front, and on the back a poignant image of Edward and Alphonse Elric, Winry Rockbell, and Ed and Al's teacher, Izumi Curtis, on an orange-sky background.

Upon opening the binder, players will find a single nine-card sheet, fully stocked with nine leader cards, printed on clear plastic. While similar to transmutated cards found in current FMA TCG products, these new-style plastic cards will feature a revamped template to differentiate it from earlier transmutation cards and regular cards. Four of these leader cards will be reprints of popular leaders from the first three FMA TCG sets, while four will be previews from future expansions and one will be exclusive to this set.

The first opportunity to get Transmutation will be at GAMA Trade Show 2006 in Las Vegas, March 14-17. Retailers can pick one up for free at the JoyRide Entertainment booth (#419) just by stopping by and talking about FMA TCG with the JoyRide staff. Players will be able to purchase the binders for $50 apiece at other major conventions throughout the year direct from the JoyRide Entertainment booth. The first card will be shown on www.fma-tcg.com March 1, with more to come as GTS approaches.

Also, a number of the sets will be made available on DieCastExpress.com, RC2/JoyRide's web sales portal. Each convention and the web site will have a limited number of binders available for sale. Users on the Fullmetal Alchemist TCG message boards will be granted a special opportunity to pre-order and reserve their kits. Ordering details will be announced when they are finalized.

With a full-color binder, exclusive plastic cards, and a limited print run, Transmutation could be the hottest product for FMA TCG in 2006. Don't miss out on this great opportunity to own these fantastic cards!
