Blue and Black fix

Patrick wrote:

"Hey I just read about your deck garage on pojo so here's a deck I would like you to fix

Water Creatures: 22

Plasma Chaser

2xPhantom Fish

2xRevolver Fish

2xCrystal Lancer

2xCorile

3xCandy Drop

3xHunter Fish

3xEmeral

4xAqua Hulcus

Spells:8

Crystal Memory

Teleportation

2xThought Probe

4xSpiral Gate

Darkness Creatures: 7

Deathliger, Lion of Chaos

2xMarrow Ooze, the Twister

4xHorrid Worm

Spells:13

2xDeath Smoke

3xCritical Blade

4xGhost Touch

4xTerror Pit

Strategy: Well this deck takes advantage of darks creature and hand kill and

waters bounce and Emeral's effect to set any Terror Pits that may be in hand.

I am thinking of putting at least 2 Liquid Scope in since it is always nice to

see what your opponent may have in hand and what shields not to hit! Thx!

Thank YOU for writing me, Patrick. Ahhh, Blue and Black, the original control color scheme. A wonderful deck type oh yes. Your deck seems pretty darn solid, but it still needs that certain combination or "firework" (=/) to make it truly work. I don t suggest the Liquid Scopes, because they don t offer too much field control, and this game doesn t need to see the shields because you re gonna break them no matter what.( If you want to win) Hmm, lets look at the Black stuff first:

Deathliger just doesn t seem to work with me, especially at one, since it will just be dropped as mana. Four Marrow Ooze is stapleish in my opinion, especially with our new friend Jack Viper from the new set Rampage. What I think I m gonna do is tear apart the small lineup of basic Blacks and add in a Jack Viper lineup. This means that Grey Balloons, Wailing Shadows (I forget the real name..that s just my guess) and Bone Piercer. The spells look pretty good, but I don t really like Critical Blade and Ghost Touch should be maxed out like that. Two and two should do. The Terror Pits and Death Smokes are good to go at that count. A good deck, but now it s a tad better. Here the new black lineup.

Black Creatures

4x Grey Balloon Shadow of Greed

4x Wailing Shadow

4x Marrow Ooze

3x Jack Viper

2x Bone Piercer

Black Spells

4x Terror Pit

2x Ghost Touch

2x Death Smoke

2x Critical Blade

Now for the blue. The Hulcus are good, along with the Lancers, but that s about it. Blockers have lost their playability pretty much. The only one I would suggest is Angler Cluster, but thats only for Mono-Blue. I suggest we dump the blockers and make room for some mor support for the Liquid People lineup. As for the spells, I m happy to see someone not running Brain Serum, but THOUGHT PROBE?!?! No no no no no. Did I say no yet? Because I meant to say NOOO!

LOL..I m done. Hmm, I think you should ditch those for more deck space and an extra Crystal

Memory. Here the final for blue:

Blue Creatures

4x Aqua Hulcus

3x Corile

2x Aqua Soldier

2x Emeral

2x Crystal Lancer

1x Crystal Paladin

Blue Spells

4x Spiral Gate

2x Crystal Memory

1x Teleportation

I hope this helps you in your journey to become a "Kaijudo Master"!

Happy Winnings!
