Card Text: Minion Fodder - Each time one of your Shadow Champions would be banished, you may banish one of your other creatures instead. 

Minion Fodder is a nice power for keeping your high cost Shadow Champions in the battle zone.  This power has a lot of synergy with Void Wing's Slayer.  Void Wing can comfortably attack any creature and as long as you have Kronkos and another creature in the battle zone you can keep Void Wing from being banished.  Minion Fodder would also keep Void Wing and Kronkos safe from Terror Pits and creature attacks during your opponent's turn. 

Currently Shadow Champions don't have much support.  The Shadow Champion Race works well with other Shadow Champions, but there a so few of them to build around. Maybe with Shattered Alliances a solid  Shadow Champion deck could be constructed.  For me one of the issues with putting together a Shadow Champion deck is that most of the creatures are high cost 5+ mana.  We do have a level 3 evolution creature Impalicus that evolves on Shadow Champions.  He is decent, but you are going to need to have a Shapeshifter or put it on a level 5+ Shadow Champion.  It just does not feel right to me to  lower a creatures level especially to put it below 4 mana where it can easily be dealt with spells and abilities. 

In summary this card will be better as more Shadow Champions are released.  Currently I feel this card is pretty unplayable unless you completely build around Kronkos and even then I have my doubts.  We need more Shadow Champions and some low cost ones would be nice too.  Time will tell if this will happen.
