Hello there my fellow Kaijudo Duel Masters! Today we're continuing our look at my top ten picks from Invasion Earth. My pick originally for today was Napalmeon the Conquering, however, this card was literally just reviewed last month. So I'm choosing an alternative that I feel deserves to be on the top ten list instead! Today we're looking at a card that weaken your opponent's defenses more effectively than we've ever seen before! Let's take a look at number seven on the list: Vile Malvictus

Name: Vile Malvictus
Civilization:
Darkness
Type: Creature
Race:
Shadow Champion
Level:
8
Power:
6000
Flavor Text: "It is the duty of the strong to excise the weak."
Rarity: Very Rare
Set Number: 20/80 l 10INV

Abilities:
Double Breaker
(This creature breaks 2 shields.)
Cull the Weak- When this creature enters the battle zone, each enemy creature gets -3000 power until the end of the turn. (A creature that has power 0 or less is banished.)

Vile Malvictus is a level 8 Shadow Champion with 6000 power and Double Breaker. It also happens to have an ability similar to "Suffocate," but even stronger than that! When Malvictus hits the board, all of your opponent's creatures lose 3000 power!

This effect can be game-breaking depending on what type of deck you are playing against. I imagine someone running a "Blurple" style deck or the new Corrupted cards will be the most challenged by this cards existence since a lot of their power ranges from 1000-3000 on average.

Luckily for those decks, this card won't be hitting the board until turn eight, right? Obviously there's the option to use cards that can ramp you up to eight mana by turn five or six, but there's a slightly more effective option that was also released in this set, "Veil Slip."

Veil Slip allows you to play a level 8 or less creature from your hand and then immediately return it back. This will allow you to play Vile Malvictus on your turn five, without having to ramp a single card! What makes this an even better combination, Slip is a shield blast too!

In the right deck or even as a tech choice, Vile Malvictus has the potential to see quite a bit of play. It will certainly keep those Cyber Scamps, Tricky Turnips, and Seneschal's Lieutenant's in check!

Constructed: 3.50/5.00 (A powerful tech choice that will often wreck decks that like to run a lot of low power creatures with amazing effects.)
Limited: 3.50/5.00 (It's a bit late to be dropping a 6000 power creature on turn eight. The weaken ability may benefit you so you can swing over your opponent's creatures however.)

I hope you enjoyed number seven on the list, stay tuned for number six! Also, be sure to check out my articles on Alter Reality Games page as well on every Monday!  Until next time my fellow Kaijudo Duel Masters, keep calm and game on!
