Hello again my fellow Kaijudo Duel Masters! Today we’re looking at a card that could find its way into Drakon decks in the possible future. Let’s take a look at another member of the Blastforge clan, Blastforge Bruiser.

Abilities:
Plasma Blast- When this creature enters the battle zone, banish target enemy creature that has power 1000 or less.

Blastforge Bruiser is a level 3 Drakon with 2000 power. He has the ability to banish one of your opponent’s creatures with 1000 power or less, however, how often will this effect be successful? Unless you’re playing against a “Rush” deck or something that uses a lot of small creatures, this guy might not be the best fit for your deck. He is a target for Evolution creatures but at level 3 he’s not the ideal target to evolve onto.

This card could definitely see some play for Drakon players who are worried about the mirror-match and it could increase the consistency of their deck instead of running Dragon’s Breath or Barrage. This can also prove to be useful, on occasion, against birds like Nix or Umbra.

Really not much else to say about this card. He has a decent power level for a level 3 Drakon but may only see a “one-of” in Drakon decks in the future.

Ratings:

Constructed: 2.25/5.00 (Only really good early game or against the mirror match when playing Drakons/Rush.)

Limited: 2.75/5.00 (Not too bad for early game advantage but becomes less relevant as the game progresses.)
