Hello again my fellow Kaijudo
Duel Masters! Welcome to Pojo.com's Card of the Day
for July 25, 2013! Today we're taking a look at
another one of the exclusive cards from the Triple
Strike deck, Rampaging Tatsurion. We have so many
Tatsurion cards released in this game that it's to
the point where you could run an entire deck of
Tatsurions! Let's see where this card stacks up in
today's review!
Name: Rampaging Tatsurion
Civilization: Fire
Type:
Creature
Race: Armored Dragon/Beast Kin
Level: 7
Power: 8000
Flavor Text:
"Knock 'em both outta here!" -Ray
Rarity:
Super Rare
Set Number:
D3/D3 l 8TRI
Abilities:
Double
Breaker (This creature breaks 2 shields.)
Aftershock
Shells- Whenever this creature wins a battle,
banish target enemy creature that has power less
than the losing creature's power.
Rampaging Tatsurion is a level
7 with 8000 power which already puts him at an
advantage. He has Double Breaker and an ability that
makes him very deadly when attacking. If he wins a
battle you get to banish another creature on top of
the one you just overcame in battle as long as it
has less power than the creature that you just won
against.
This card can be situational at
times since your opponent may not have another
creature that you want to banish or their only other
creature is stronger than the one you just took
down. Generally speaking, this embodiment of
Tatsurion should be able to take down just about any
turn 7 or lower creature, it's afterward when it
becomes less reliable.
This card can be the bane of
Blockers all around the Kaiju Realm but where he
really shines is when you combine him with tap
effects or cards that allow you to attack or battle
with untapped creatures, like "Fight!". This is a
great card to use alongside this Tatsurion since it
can become a card that says, "Banish two target
enemy creatures".
Overall it's not a horrible
card but will likely find it's home in Dragon decks
as a "one-of" or in a Fire/Nature deck. Only time
will tell if this card will see any play outside of
the Triple Strike deck.
Ratings:
Constructed: 3.25/5.00 (If it had an ability that activated upon
summon this card would be a great deal better. When
it sits in the battle zone is when it is able to be
dealt with.)
Limited:
4.00/5.00 (If you can stall enough in the Triple
Strike deck with your Blockers and removal, this
card will easily win you the game with its huge
attack power and effect that will easily banish most
if not all of your opponent's creatures in the
sealed environment.)
Stop back again tomorrow when
we continue to look at more cards from the Triple
Strike deck! Make sure to check out my channel for

Duel Masters, keep calm and game on!
