Alrighty, let's get on to today's card: Ironvine

Crush-When battling, this creature gets +8000
power.
When I think about this card I
immediately think of the KMC in PA where there was
some literal
slinging of cards took place between Team Peach
and Kaijudoscope. I was able the witness the birth
of something beautiful and now I know what it means
to be "Ironvined".
With that side note out of the
way let's take a literal look at the card. It's
essentially a non-evolution version of Flamespike
Tatsurion. It costs 8 mana and has 8000 power and
Double Breaker but if it battle with any creature,
whether it's your turn or your opponent's, you gain
8000 power putting this guy up to an astounding
16000 power!
This forces your opponent to
use spell removal or a creature with Slayer to be
able to take this monstrosity down. Currently it
seems that more people are adamant about seeing the
benefit of a creature's effects now as opposed to a
turn from now. This card has the potential to take
down any creature in this game outside of "Infernus
the Immolator".
This card works great when
paired with cards from the Fire civilization. You
could play a card like "Fight!" and treat it as a
removal spell with ease. You could play "Overcharge"
and attack untapped creatures and this would allow
you to trade off with "Infernus the Immolator". You
could even run it alongside Steamtank Kryon to allow
it to go up to 18000 power and have it gain Fast
Attack!
This will likely be an
underused card but it has quite the potential and
will stay alive as long as you can avoid those
"Terror Pits" or bounce spells. Try it out and see
if "Ironvining" is right for you!
Ratings:
Constructed: 3.25/5.00 (It won't be banished by anything except
spells and Slayers 99% of the time.)
Limited:
2.00/5.00 (If you can get this card out and keep
it out you'll probably win. However there are far
too many shield blasts that can deal with Ironvine
in Clash.)
