Well, the Kaijudo Master
Challenges have been posted and the travel plans for
many of us have already started. Personally I can
guarantee that I'll be at the one located in
Oakmont, Pennsylvania, however, due to work and
other life endeavors, I can't say the same with the
others. I may attempt to go to the ones around Ohio
but we'll see. Anywho, onto today's Card of the Day,
Cybersphere Dragon:
Name: Cybersphere Dragon
Civilization: Water
Type:
Creature
Race: Tsunami Dragon
Level: 7
Power: 6000
Flavor Text:
"Hey, megabrain! How do we stop this thing?"
-Allie to Gabe
Rarity:
Super Rare
Set Number:
P17 l Y1PRM
Abilities:
Double Breaker
(This creature breaks 2 shields.)
Uplink- If this creature would be banished,
return it to your hand instead.
Cybersphere overall is a pretty
basic card. You have a Level 7 with 6000 power with
Double Breaker. I guess that's not a horrible thing
just a little underpowered for a Dragon. On that
regard, I would rather run Zagaan, the Bone Knight!
He does have another effect called "Uplink". If this
creature would be banished return it to your hand
instead. It's a much larger version of Aqua Commando
essentially.
So having a creature that will
never die is definitely a plus, but unless you're
running a ton of birds, why would you want to
continue to summon this guy over and over again?
Board presence is always a good thing I suppose, but
having to wait an additional turn to attack with
this card really slows things down.
It's a
neat card but I really don't see it getting a ton of play in any
major tournament scenes. Dragon of Reflections just
seems like such a better option for the same mana
cost. So, I guess If you're
a collector, or if you want to build a Aqua
Commando/Cybersphere.dek, then by all means, live
the dream!
Ratings:
Constructed: 2.00/5.00 (Yeah, I know it's a Dragon but it's a very
basic Dragon that is likely just going to go to your
mana zone after it goes to back to your hand.)
Limited: 2.50/5.00 (♪ It's the never-ending dragon!

Make sure to stop out when we
conclude our promo week with probably one of the
most playable ones to be released for this Duel Days
season! Until next time my fellow Kaijudo Duel
Masters, keep calm and game on!
