Valiant Warrior Exorious

Type: Creature
Civilization: Fire
Race: Armorloid
Mana Cost: Six
Rules Text:

This creature can attack untapped creatures.
Power attacker +3000 (While attacking, this creature gets +3000 power.)

Flavor Text:

"If you ever want to find me, just look between the explosions."

Power: 4000+

Rarity: Very Rare

Set: Stompatrons of Invincible Wrath

Power/Cost: Six mana is on the high end of the spectrum. You need a decent creature body in return for spending such a significant amount of mana. What does Exorious supply? Just a measly 4000 attack power. Assuming Exorious lives long enough to attack, he can kill all the little weenie creatures that probably cost less and come with superior abilities. The only good thing about the 4k power level is that he can survive Searing Wave. Whoop-dee-do.

Civilization/Race: There are currently eight mediocre Armorloids and one above average Armorloid. Valiant Warrior Exorious is not the above average card. The race as a whole has precious little support and no evolution creatures. Moving along to something hopefully more exciting...

Effects: Time to recap. For six mana you get a creature that has 7k power (when attacking) and can attack untapped creatures. Now compare this to Gatling Skyterror. For one more mana, you get a creature with 7k power (all the time), can attack untapped creatures, and has double breaker. I see Gatling as the more valuable card based on that comparison, despite being a horrible card overall. So if Exorious is worse than an already terrible card, he must be especially terrible. Now the only question that remains is why WotC keeps making Very Rare cards suck so badly.

Constructed: 1.5/5

Mr. Exorious, meet the n00b who will be taking you from my trade binder. This card honestly has no value in regular play. Even if you did want your deck to include a powerhouse finisher, there are much better options.

Limited: 3.5/5

This guy happened to wind up in my deck during the Stompatrons release draft. He actually worked quite nicely, being able to tackle stronger monsters. Sadly, Exorious is vulnerable with only 4k power on defense. The lack of Double Breaker hurts too. Still a somewhat valuable asset if you can nab him.

Today we review gatling skyterror's cousin

Valiant Warrior Exorius
fire
cost: 6?
can attack untapped creatures and is power attacker 3000
power 4000

Well, I personally think this card sucks.....really badly. I like being able to attack untapped creatures, but with a fatty like gatling or garkago who is 1 of my favorite cards. This creature may be cheaper but it is much worse than either of those 2 creatures.

limited: If you are running fire and pull it use it as strong creatures are hard to get in limited. 3/5

constructed: There are much better choices than this. 1/5

Hey all!  It's been a while since I've done one of these hasn't it?!  Back to business!

Valiant Warrior Exorius.

For 6 mana, you get a 4000 (7000 when attacking) Armorloid that can attack untapped creatures.  Nothing all that special...

I've pulled this card out of the one box that I bought of Stomp.  Let me say that I'm not impressed.  For 6 mana, a Red deck can play Gett and evo to Valdios for 6000 DB with no Summoning Sickness.  You can also play a Searing Wave or if your mixing green, play that FDF that you might not have played yet!  4000 power for 6 is pretty bad too, so just put this card into the binder where it belongs.

There's just not much to say about this card but that theres better cards to play on turn 6.

Ratings:
Constructed:  2/5
Limited:  4/5- on turn 5 (you probably pulled at least 1 Faeire Life), you can get him and on turn 6, own their field basically.  This card is very good in limited.
