Pojo's Dragonball - What If?

What if King Piccolo had never spit out the egg containing Piccolo before dying? - Tyler

Saiyan Saga
Well Goku’s power level would be about 250 considering he never would have fought Piccolo in the World Martial Arts tournament.  When Raditz arrived, Goku would be no match for him and would not have anyone to help him.  Things would go about the same…Raditz would take Gohan and Goku would go find him and fight.  Goku would get beaten much quicker and worse, Gohan would still use a burst of power to try and save him.  Raditz would kill Goku and all of the inhabitants of Earth (except for Dr. Gero and his androids who are hidden away in his lab far out of reach of civilization, and Buu would still be hidden deep inside the Earth).  Seeing the potential of Gohan, Raditz would take him back to meet Vegeta on whatever planet he was conquering at the time.

Planet Trade Organization Saga
Seeing the boy would make Vegeta upset because he was expecting Kakarot, but after making fun of Kakarot for a while, Gohan would attack Vegeta in a fit of rage similar to the way he attacked Raditz.  Vegeta then realized why Raditz brought Gohan back and allows him to join himself, Nappa, and Raditz under the rule of Frieza.  Frieza meets Gohan but thinks nothing of him.  They then go on their usual missions to claim planets for Freiza.  Gohan does not actively participate in the killing but surpasses Raditz in power because of the beatings he takes defending himself.  Raditz eventually becomes useless to Vegeta and he is killed after not working up to Vegeta’s standards.  After being on Frieza’s ship for a period of time, Vegeta, Nappa, and Gohan learn the rumors of the Dragon Balls and eventually learn of Frieza’s plan to find them on Namek.  Vegeta, Nappa, and Gohan devote their time solely to training and over time Gohan develops somewhat of a bond with Vegeta and Nappa.  Gohan also rubs off on the two sayains and they become slightly less brutal than what they appeared in the TV series when they arrive on Earth.

Namek Saga
The three fighters eventually reach Namek and the same sort of events occur as in the TV series….They arrive second and must find Frieza and his henchmen and the Dragon Balls.  They are a lot more powerful than they were in the series.  Vegeta is about the equivalent to Goku in the series, Nappa equivalent to Vegeta, and Gohan is not far behind Nappa.  Because they never spend enough time on Earth, Gohan, Nappa, and Vegeta never learn how to suppress their energy levels and are quickly found by Frieza and his henchmen.  Frieza leaves Zarbon and Dodoria to fight the three saiyans while he and the weaker members of his army go to collect the rest of the Dragon Balls.  Dodoria is handled by Nappa after a decent fight in which Nappa was the favorite.  Nappa then attacks Zarbon and he is forced to turn into the monster version of himself and knocks Nappa out of the fight. A weaked Zarbon is then easily defeated by a few blows from Vegeta.  Vegeta, Nappa and Gohan find Frieza’s ship along with 5 Dragon Balls and kill everyone inside and use the healing machine to heal Nappa.  Vegeta, growing impatient, takes Gohan to find Frieza and collect the remaining two Dragon Balls.  On the way to the village Frieza is attacking, Vegeta and Gohan fly over Guru’s village and Vegeta sends Gohan to see if there is a Dragon Ball there.  Gohan goes and finds the Dragon Ball at Guru’s, and Guru, seeing Gohan is good, awakens his sleeping powers to help defeat Frieza.  Guru allows Gohan to have the Dragon Ball and Gohan takes it to the ship, meets up with a healed Nappa, and goes to find Vegeta.  Vegeta reaches Frieza and confronts him but Nappa and Gohan arrive and Nappa attacks Frieza in a fit of rage.  Nappa is killed with a single blow and Vegeta barely survives the next attack which is aimed at him.  After seeing his only friends take a beating, Gohan goes SSJ and fights Frieza much like Goku in the series. Vegeta, in utter shock and still wanting to be the one to kill Frieza, trys to use a Blutz Wave blast to become a Great Ape, but uses all his power in the process and cannot transform.  However Gohan turns into the Golden Great Ape (the three saiyans including Gohan still have their tails) and easily destroys Frieza.  Everyone on Namek except for those in Guru’s village are killed and Guru dies of old age putting an end to the Dragon Balls.  After healing, Vegeta tells Gohan of the Legendary Super saiyan and Gohan tells Vegeta he wants to return to Earth.  Vegeta complies and they travel to Earth.

Android Saga
They arrive to find the Earth that Raditz left rid of human life…except of course for Dr. Gero and his Androids who were hidden away in the mountain-side.  After walking around Earth for a while, Gohan and Vegeta are confronted by Dr Gero, who they find searching for machine parts inside of South City.  Dr. Gero cannot believe that Gohan is still alive and seeing the arrogance of Vegeta promises them their trip to Earth would be worth it and would be a good fight.  Gero activates 19, 18, and 17 (16 is of no use because Goku is dead).  17 and 18 kill Gero and the three Androids set out to find Vegeta and Gohan.  They meet up with them, and a battle ensues.  Vegeta destroys 19 with one punch.  17 tries to fight Vegeta but gets continually beaten.  While this is occurring, Cell is released and arrives at the battle scene.  He catches a bystanding 18 off guard and absorbs her.  In a fit of rage, 17 attacks Cell but is beaten easily and absorbed. Vegeta battles Cell and is slightly overmatched.  Vegeta becomes SSJ because of his anger over the fact that Gohan saved him on Namek.   Vegeta and Cell are now about even, but instead of killing him Cell absorbs Vegeta.  Gohan, enraged over the absorption of his friend, becomes SSJ2 and punches him in the gut and he spits out Vegeta and 18.  Vegeta and Gohan attack Cell simultaneously and destroy him. The two saiyans decide to stay on Earth and start a new saiyan race (with 18 being the female of course)

Babidi Saga
After spending many years on Earth and becoming stronger, Vegeta and Gohan are confronted by Babidi and Dabura.  They playfully defeat Dabura and kill Babidi with a single, small, ki blast.  Majin Buu is left trapped inside the ball deep inside Earth.  The two saiyans live the rest of their lives together on Earth as friends and training partners and repopulate the Earth with saiyans…the end!
