OhayoCon 2001 Jan. 26-28 Sheraton Airport Hotel
Cleveland, Ohio
We had first heard about OhayoCon back in April of last year. At that time I had only been to one anime convention and was looking forward to going to another (I ended up going to one in between these two, but that’s a different story). OhayoCon was still just an idea back then, so I wasn’t sure if they’d even pull it off. Well, time passed and it turned out that this con would indeed be held, but not in 2000 as it was originally planned. I was disappointed at first…but then I realized that the postponement was in the best interest of the congoers. During that time, I believe they came up with quite a few more guests as well as dealers.
I hadn’t lost my skepticism about the con though. After all, it was going to be in Ohio. Ohio…one of the few states I know of that come close to being as boring and stupid as Michigan (which is where I live, incase you didn’t know). It turns out that there actually are a lot of anime fans in Ohio, as well as those willing to come to Ohio. There were 793 attendees in total. Much more than some of the smaller cons have ever had!
I didn’t mention this yet, but I went to OhayoCon with my local anime club – BCOA. In total there were 8 of us going. I just happened to get stuck with making the hotel reservations for the group ^_^ Well, we discussed it over and over, and finally decided that we weren’t going to have the time or the money to cosplay at this year’s OhayoCon. I did end up wearing a certain trademark costume though (which I’ll talk about later). We also made our travel plans, which involved my friend and I in a van with four girls. The other two members decided to drive up after they got off work later in the day. In the couple of weeks, which quickly turned into days, before the convention we made some last minute decisions. One of these was apparently to buy out the entire Felpausch store’s food stock, including lots of fortune cookies and POCKY! I made sure to check on the rooms before we left, so we didn’t end up sleeping through a couple of tapes of Trigun and the Maze OAV…not that I would mind at all J
After waiting for what seemed like a week of school to go by on Thursday, I finally got home and began to make my plans and start packing. I ended up falling asleep around 12:00, which wasn’t too good of an idea since I was going to be picked up at 7:00AM the next day. I dragged myself out of bed and managed to get myself ready anyway. I packed a few more essentials, such as my "costume", discman, and TONS of anime and video game related CDs. The van had a CD player…that meant everyone could listen to my awesome mixes…and the Dragon Ball 5 CD Set. I waited for awhile and finally the van arrived. I threw my stuff in, and barely got to the back seat with all the food in the way ^_^ As I was getting in the van I noticed what they had playing in the CD player…I’m not sure of the name of the song, but I think it’s called "Love Me". There was a guy singing it in a really effeminate voice. It was really freaky O_O We went to pick up three more people after me, and then we were on our way. BCOA was OhayoCon bound!
We had a lot of fun on the way up…eating tons of fortune cookies. The fortunes actually turned out well, once we added the famous two words to the end, heh. We listened to music the whole way up, mostly anime. There was a lot of joking around going on the whole time. I eventually decided to start annoying the other drivers. I found some "window chalk" that somebody brought and started writing on the windows. I wrote "I love you" on the back window (backwards, of course) with a heart symbol instead of the "love". On the drivers side I wrote ANIME in big yellow letters while I was waving to the other drivers and hand signally. We got laughs from some, as well as one old lady who almost ran into the pile-on dividers. Then we got a little more crazy and started waving a Dragon Ball Z pillow that had Goku on one side and Trunks on the other at the cars. We got lots of stares from that. It was all in good fun though.
When we finally got to the Cleveland area we saw the airport and then the hotel where the con was at…we drove past both. We didn’t know what exit we should turn off on from there, so we just kept going until we got to a McDonalds. I had a burger and a huge milkshake…after waiting in line for 20 minutes and trying to make the incompetent person behind the counter understand my order. So we got back on the road and drove towards the airport…but we passed it again. Oops! ^_^ We turned off at the next exit, which we saw could get us to the hotel. It was confusing though, especially for the driver, because everyone started shouting, "TURN! NOW!" She started swerving right and left and we nearly crashed into another van after being in the wrong lane for a while. When we parked at hotel we decided to take out that window chalk back out, write some club stuff, and draw our mascot "The Angry Meatloaf". On the bottom of the window we wrote "BCOA Ohayocon ‘01". Yeah! We made it!
The hotel didn’t look that great from the outside. I mean it looked decent in my opinion, though some people called it ghetto ^_^ When we walked in the side door, we came to the pool area. It was really nice, one of the better ones that I’ve seen at a hotel. They had plants by the pool and a hot tub, workout room, everything. I never got a chance to use any of them though. After all there WAS a con going on you know. We made our way over to the front desk. The lobby was also pretty great. The waterfall thing was sweet! As I made my way in, I could see quite a few people in costume, after all it was a little after 1:00PM or so. We got our rooms from the lady at the desk, who by the way was REALLY messed up. Apparently she had said over the radio that she had an emergency, because all of a sudden these security guys started coming towards us. When they got there she said something like "Oh my god, it was just a joke! Jeez!" She gave two of the girls in our group the room with the one king size bed. I guess she thought it was her duty to make assumptions. Well we finally got everything straightened out, three of our rooms were pretty close together on the 4th floor, while one was up on the 7th. I’m telling you, this lady had no idea what she was doing. So we made it up to our rooms and got settled. I realized that there was a video game controller hooked on to the TV. I was like "KICK ASS!". Then I looked at the TV and it showed something about paying $6.95 to play a Super Nintendo game. I decided it would be better not to, heh.
After we were settled, we made our way down to the second floor to pick up our con membership badges. Most of us had preregistered so we just picked up our badges (we had to show our IDs first, though). Nothing was going on at that time that interested me, other than the opening ceremonies that were already half over. Now I had wished that I gone to them though. A good part opening ceremonies was based on Iron Chef. The "battle" apparently involved the art of coffee making J . Mmm…I love coffee! I don’t know where the rest of the group went…but I know that my friend (Josh) and I went directly down to the dealers room. I was greeted with an excellent selection of anime merchandise. Gundam models as far as the eye can see! There were also quite a lot of cels, one of which I bought. It didn’t have much to do with anime, it was a nice $85 cell from the Super Mario Bros. cartoon show. I love SMB, even the movie!!! Besides that I also bought A LOT of Tonari no Totoro stuff at the con. This included plushies of all three of the Totoro, a Nekobus plush, a Totoro artbook, playing cards, and keychain. Wow, the cost of those plushies really adds up! I also bought a couple of magazines, some trading cards, a Dragon Ball Z puzzle book, and a production drawing from TMNT. Oh, and a Ryo-Ohki plush for my little brother. There were quite a few dealers there, and they all had a pretty good selection. Before I left the dealers room, I made sure to stop over at the Ironcat (www.ironcat.com) booth to say ‘hey’.
Before doing anything else, I had to take my cel and stuff back up to my room. After that I decided to go check out an anime called FLCL in the Dolby Digital Surround Sound 5.1 room. The sound was great, as was the picture quality. The problem was the seating. It was nearly impossible to see anything in some of the more crowded shows. When that was over, I just chilled with some of my friends. We went back to check out the dealers room again, where I said ‘hey’ to Steve Bennett, the ULTIMATE con personality. Steve really makes a con what a con should be (No, I didn’t say A-Kon). Then it was on to the Anime Match Game! My personal favorite convention game show at the moment, hosted by Greggo (www.animematchgame.com), the funny guy that everyone loves. Except…well…most guys ^_^ On the celebrity panel were some of my favorite anime personalities: Jon Osborne, Mike Brady, Tiffany Grant, EK, Brett Weaver, and THE AMAZING Jessica Calvello (www.jessicacalvello.com)! It was great, but I was going to leave during it to check out the Nadesico Movie: Prince of Darkness. I didn’t want to miss it…Nadesico is one of my favorite anime series. We all ended up staying anyway when one of our group members came up with the number one most popular answer to a question and became one of the contestants! I decided to stay…after all I could always catch the movie some other time. She won! Her winnings included 5 tapes and a video game I think. Yeah Shannon! We’re winners!
That was a lot of fun! Afterwards I talked to Jessica Calvello and got her to autograph one of the cards from the game. We talked about Dragon Half and how it has to be one of the greatest anime of all time!!! She was the VA for Mink in the dub by the way. After that was on of the highlights of the con, the Steve Bennett Roast! I didn’t make it to the roast ;_; but I wish that I had! It sounded like a hell of a lot of fun as well as the entire $35 fee going to the American Cancer Society. When the roast was over was when most of the parties were going to start. Namely Big Fire, as well as the Match Game party and quite a few other smaller ones. During the roast (which started and ended later than expected) I went to check out a bit of subbed Outlaw Star. It happened to be one of the episodes I hadn’t seen, so I was happy. Then we just walked around for a bit, looking at all of the cosplayers’ costumes. I forgot to bring a camera! Damn! Oh well, at least a few of us remembered. We had heard that the room keys for Ohayocon members would not only get you into the club areas on the 1st and 2nd floors, they would also get you to the 9th, where a lot of the parties happened to be. So I went to check them all out.
In the first floor club there was a lobby area that nobody was using at the moment. I saw some fruit baskets so I stole…I mean borrowed…one of their apples J . There was also a mini-refrigerator so I had a look inside and guess what I found! No, there weren’t any alcoholic beverages, but there were some 10 oz. glass bottles of pop and about a hundred little bottled waters! In fact they were the same tiny bottles of pop that they were selling for a buck over by the video rooms. I took the opportunity to grab a couple of those as well as a few bottled waters and take them up to my room (hehehe). Then I met up with a few buddies from online, as well as some that I’ve met at other conventions. We hung out for a while and I told them about the pops on the first floor. I continued to walk around and got some more autographs and talked to a few VA’s and other guests. Then I heard about some other celebrities at Ohayocon. Yes, that’s right, the rumors are true! I have confirmed reports that at least The Undertaker, Christian, and Stone Cold of WWF fame were all at the Sheraton! I didn’t get a chance to meet any of them, but a few friends of mine did. Sounds like quite an experience…I wonder if they watched any anime ^_^ Uh oh…we didn’t notice that there was going to be an Anime Club Summit! I hope it went okay without me being there ^_^ Then it was up to one of our rooms for an early party and get-together type thing. We certainly had enough food for everyone, if not the rest of the hotel! I took a box of pocky for myself (Mmm…pocky).
We just chilled for awhile until I left to go see if the Roast was over yet. It looked like it had just ended, so I went around to check out some of the room parties. First, I stopped by the match game room but it had been delayed again…I was told that they were still waiting for the room service and stuff. Then it was on to Big Fire. I talked to a few people and saw some VA’s and Ironcat people there, as well as Big Fire themselves. It was all good and fun (though I didn’t even have any drinks at the time, hehe), but I remembered that I was going to go back up to the room that we were all in earlier to see what our plans were for the rest of the night. They asked where I had been, and I just said something like "big fire". They hadn’t been to the party yet, so they wanted to know what was going on. I told them about it, as well as some of the other room parties going on at the time. They were like, "How come you get invited to all these parties?". Hey, what can I say, I’ve got the connections J .
So we all decided to go check out Open Mic Night. It was pretty good, nothing spectacular though. It was a combination of karaoke, skits, and whatever else anybody wanted to do. My group tried to get me to go up and sing Fly Me to the Moon, but I didn’t really feel like it. The Open Mic Night was actually run pretty well…though it seemed to get old after a while and we left a little after 1 AM. Turns out it ended around 2:30 anyway, no where near 9 AM finish that was on the schedule. I went by the video game room and saw some people playing DDR…but I had been running extremely low on sleep, and there’s no way I could’ve played a dancing game. Aiyaiyai I’m your little butterfly…okay…that’s enough of that. By the way DDR US Version is scheduled to be released in March 2001. I went up to my room, had a drink, talked for a while and watched a little TV, then went to sleep. It was really great having the convention at the hotel. I love cons like that…it makes the experience much more enjoyable. Plus it makes it easier to stay up as late as you want and go to all of the parties without worrying about driving or getting a ride back to your hotel.
We set our alarm for 8:30AM, so we could make sure we had enough time to make it to the Anime Match Game at 10AM. I got ready and put on my secret, simple, infamous cosplaying outfit for this con…the BADMAN outfit. Believe it or not, there actually was a character that wore this outfit. Only for a few episodes, but it’s pretty well known among Dragon Ball fans like myself. It was worn by Vegeta when Trunks arrived from the future. The costume consists of a shorter-than-average short sleeve pink shirt with BADMAN written in black block letters on the back. Depending on what episode you’re watching, there is also a white border around the "BADMAN". I wore light khaki pants, a white undershirt, and black shoes to complete the outfit. It was really simple to make and it was pretty fun too. Josh and me ended up being the only people from our group that went to the second match game but that was okay. We made it on time and took our seats. It was extremely HOT in there…I mean it felt like my blood was boiling! It had to have been about 90 degrees! There were pitchers of water for the panel, as well as the contestants. I had to be in the game now!
My wish came true, and I ended up winning one of the audience questions and going up to the contestants table where I quickly poured myself a glass of ice water. There were no points scored in the first round, but I won in the second with the winning answer…"BROTHEL". Heh…you had to have been there ^_^ I lost the Super Match question, but they let me go for the grand prize anyway. Here I teamed up with Steve Bennett, and we both came up with "Universe" for the question "Lost ____". I won two Patlabor TV series tapes. The problem is that they were tapes 2 and 3, and I’ve never seen the first! O_O When the game was over Greggo told us that they’d be getting new sets for the show and that we could take whatever we wanted…except for the taplights. Josh took Steve Bennett’s plexi-glass sign and stand, which he got him to draw on and sign! Steve gave me the winning answer card, with a drawing of the Ironcat mascot and his signature. He added a little witty commentary J . I also made him sketch me a Lum.
After that, we walked around the hotel for a while, mostly in the dealers room, where three or four people got a picture of my "costume"…well…just the back of it, but hey, that was the important part! A couple more people snapped a picture during the rest of my Saturday/early Sunday at Ohayocon. If you happen to know where I might be able to find a picture of it, please e-mail me (animeguruz@hotmail.com) or use one of the other contact methods listed at the end of the report. I wanted to see the Music Video Contest, but it was CROWDED! I mean there were people standing way out into the hall trying to look in and see it. There were a lot of other things going on at the time, like the Manga Drawing Workshop, but they were all either really full or had been well into the panel already. I managed to catch some of the "Attack of the VAs EX + Alpha" panel that was going on. These panels were really informative. They gave everyone a look into voice-acting and how to play a role in it. Many of the VAs at this panel were in the dub of Dragon Half. I have yet to see the dub, but I know that Dragon Half is one of the best anime of all time, whether subbed or dubbed! After the workshop I talked with Jessica Calvello some more, and I got Brett Weaver to autograph my Nadesico CD. I wanted other Nadesico VAs to autograph it too, but I had already got their autographs earlier. I want to be a VA some day…that would be a hella lotta fun! Even if I only had some small roll for kicks.
After my fun with the VAs I went to see a few episodes of Trigun that I hadn’t gotten a chance to check out yet. They were in Video 3…the extremely tiny and crowded video room. Not a chance that we could all fit in there! I hope Steve Bennett has a Cel Painting Workshop at ACen…because I missed it! I also didn’t have a chance to check out any of the Japanese guests’ panels. The three attending were Tomohiro Hirata, Atsuko Nakajima, and Kazuko Tadano. The lines were way too long…and I didn’t think it was worth my time. I wanted to meet Nakajima though, she did character designs for Ranma ˝! Hirata happened to do character designs for Irresponsible Captain Tylor, a series which I have still yet to see! I know I had a few chances at the con. We came in too late to see the first few episodes, and I didn’t want to jump into the middle of it -_-
I headed back up to the room with Josh to get a drink before I died of dehydration. On the way to the room we met up with the rest of our group…they were heading down to see the Card Captor Sakura Movie…something I wasn’t all that interested in. We just hung out around the hotel for a while until it was about time for Dragon Half to be shown in Video 2. We got to see a little more Outlaw Star before we were informed that they didn’t have Dragon Half and therefore it would NOT be shown. Arrrrr…dammit! I was so mad that I went up to my room and watched Police Academy on TV. We were planning on going to the original Hard Rock Café after the cosplay for dinner, even though it wasn’t supposed to end until 9PM. I decided to wait…even though all I had was some pocky and a few snacks since the day before. We then left our room and headed down to get inline for the cosplay that was supposed to start in a couple minutes. The line was HUGE. We lucked out though, and got to cut in with our friends from BCOA! They had been waiting in line ever since the CCS movie ended. The wait was VERY long…we didn’t get into the cosplay until about 7…an hour after it was scheduled to start. I don’t like to stand in one place that long. Ah well. While I was in line, two more people got a picture of the back of my shirt. The hotel people sold a lot of those tiny bottles of pop too…but we all know the secret…mwahahaha! They finally let us in and we took our seats.
The cosplay really went very well. It looked to be well organized, despite the delays. The skits involving staff were done well, and they sure as hell got me laughing! Where else can you see Y2KJ getting beat up by thugs dressed as anime characters? Okay…stupid question…continuing J . Most of the costumes were great and extremely well done. I’m going to put up a few pictures of them with this review. Kevin Bolk’s act as Ten-Chan from Urusei Yatsura had me nearly rolling on the floor laughing. I don’t want to get too into detail on the individual costumes and skits in the cosplay, because this review is already way too long as it is. The pictures will tell the story for me. I’ll even put in some captions if I have time! Well then…after all of the people in the cosplay were finished the judges left to start deliberation.
So we waited…and waited…and waited…until we realized that they wouldn’t be coming back for a long time. This is when the biggest fund-raiser for any charity in the history of anime conventions started. The Steve Bennett Roast from the previous night had already brought in well over $500 for the American Cancer Society…and now they were about to get some more. The first auction was for an autographed box set of Captain Tylor video tapes. They went for $300, all of witch went to the charity. Then they auctioned an autographed by artists, guests, and staff Ohayocon official poster that came with an autographed Ohayocon T-shirt. These went for at least $100 with the proceeds going to the same place.
Then they started the real "telethon" to take donations for the Cancer Society. It was totally unplanned to the best of my knowledge, but they got tons of people to donate to the charity. While these donations were coming in, we got to see lots of odd stuff on stage. Including Brett Weaver in a cabbit suit and a lapdance being given to Y2KJ. In all, they raised over $700 from these donations. This added up to a grand total of $1500+ which was ALL given to the American Cancer Society. The judges finally did get back and they gave out their awards. Steve Bennett was extremely pleased about the success of the fund-raiser. He lost his father to cancer last year. When he was showed the total amount of money raised he simply replied "Oh shit…!". I’m thinking he was pleased with that. Back to the awards…Best in Show went to Kevin Bolk for his portrayal of Ten, who was drunk and complaining that nobody appreciates classic anime anymore. Neko-boy also won an award. All of the girls in my group were drooling over this bishonen the entire convention. Blah…J . The cosplay ended up as a success in my opinion, no matter what some jealous people on the COSP mailing list think. After it was over, I took a picture of one of my friends with Brett Weaver. Brett was flipping off the camera, thus flipping me off as well! Hoorah!
Then we had to leave so they could set up for the dance. Because the cosplay didn’t end until after 10PM we decided not to go to the Hard Rock Café…it was probably closed anyhow. Two of the people in our group left during the cosplay and went anyways (Shannon, the other match game winner had to leave as well). Instead we called Papa Johns and got a good deal on pizza which was delivered right to our room. Yeah…we can be even lazier! We looked at what we had all bought in the dealers room thus far while we were waiting for the pizza. We also shared stories…and it was made clear that I was the most popular one of us at this convention ^_^ The pizza arrived and after the guy left, I heard that he was searching for a "Domaramu" who had also ordered pizza. In case you didn’t know, Domaramu is a character from Dragon Half O_O We had fun and ate our pizza while we joked about killing Relena from Gundam Wing.
After that is was down to the dance. Only three of us actually stayed, but we had a lot of fun anyway. As far as dancing goes…this dance really wasn’t the place to look for talent. Except of course for the people busting out with DDR moves! The dance was fun though…at least I thought it was. We were all getting pretty thirsty so I went and got some of those little water bottles from that fridge. Someone swiped them from us though! Nobody steals from the BADMAN! While at the dance I talked to the VAs some more…including, yes of course, Jessica Calvello. She shouted "Hey, BADMAN Bob!" and then we proceeded to dance J . I went up to the group room to get my friend to watch Trigun at 1:30AM but he said he was too tired and he wanted to go to sleep. That was okay with me, except we couldn’t find any of our card keys! I had to go down to the front desk to get a new one. They seemed really confused when I asked for it…they didn’t know what I was talking about, but what else is new? I went upstairs and let my friend into the room and then I went back down to watch Trigun. It hadn’t started yet, so I just stayed until the end of the dance. After that I walked around and talked to some other late night wanderers. By the time Trigun actually started, it was nearly 3AM but I managed to stay and watch until it was over at 4. I then checked out a few late night parties, but most of the attendees were either too drunk or too tired to have fun anymore. It was still a good time though, and I didn’t make it back to my room until after 5:30AM. How the hell was I going to be downstairs at 8AM to watch more Trigun?! I decided that it would be illogical…I was running on very little energy and needed sleep.
And sleep I did…until 9:30 when I got up and took a shower (yes, some fanboys do) and got most of my stuff packed and ready to go. At about 10 I called and asked for an extension on the checkout time and I was told that they weren’t giving any. Dammit …all I needed were a few more hours! Oh well. Our group decided that we wanted to check out at 11AM to give us enough slack time before the 12AM deadline. So that’s what we did. It was also decided by the majority of our group that we would not be staying for the closing ceremonies at 3PM(most of them were actually going to go watch Graduation M instead). This way we could be sure that we’d make it to Wizzywigs (www.wizzywigs.com) in Ann Arbor, MI on the way back to Battle Creek. We missed the Fansubbing Panel and the How to Succeed in Running a Con, but then again most people did. Unless they checked out earlier in the morning (I don’t think that anyone who was still up then was able to check out any earlier). So I said my goodbyes to all of the guests and my other friends at the con. Then we went down to the dealers rooms one last time. I don’t think that I wrote about this before, but the dealers rooms were connected, which made things a lot easier than at some cons. They didn’t have all that many dealers…but what they had provided me with enough of a selection to spend all my money…and more.
Most of the people in my group ended up spending even more money this last trip through the dealers room. I think one of the posters that was purchased was over $70…not for me. I’m willing to spend that much on other things, but posters are going a little far. So we got everything ready and barely managed to squeeze back into the van with all of the stuff we bought and the tons of food we had left! That’s something you definitely have to think of before you go. Will you have enough room to bring back the stuff that you buy at a con? If not, you could always leave someone there and let them find their own way home. The problem is, they were talking about doing it to me O_O We started off, but everyone was hungry, so we stopped shortly afterwards at one of those plaza things on the turnpike. On the way out of the van one of the people in my group got their fingers slammed in the door by her sister! Ouch!
They had everything there…including a Sbaro’s and a Starbuck’s. Mmm…I love coffee! So we ate while we talked about the con, and our group cosplay for Ohayocon ’02. WE WILL ALL BE DRESSING AS CHARACTERS FROM TRIGUN, SO IF YOU SEE THIS AND ARE PLANNING ON DOING THE SAME THING, PLEASE MAKE SOME DIFFERENT PLANS. Arigato gozaimasu ^_^ So I had my coffee and pizza and I told them how much I had enjoyed the con. It wasn’t too big, and not nearly too small. They had a great guest lineup of Japanese guests, artists, VAs, character designers, and of course Steve Bennett and the rest of Studio Ironcat! We decided that this would probably be our big yearly group con. It used to be JAFAX, which was really small, but I don’t even think that it’s going to be held this year. If it is…please e-mail me!
We got back on the road and talked about cosplaying some more until we got to Wizzywigs. This place was great! I had never been there before, but it was an ALL ANIME AND MANGA STORE! Wow! They even had quite a few Totoro items…which I either already had, or couldn’t afford at the time. Most of the people in my group bought a lot more stuff yet again. This included DDR soundtracks, FLCL soundtracks, and some videos and DVDs. All I bought was a Yan Yan and some coffee candy…cause I didn’t get any at the con. Mmm…I love…nevermind.
Well we had a fun time the rest of the way back, listening to more CDs and talking about the possibility of going to other cons. It was apparent that we had all really enjoyed Ohayocon and that we were definitely planning on coming back! We continued to drive back to Battle Creek, and I realized that the Super Bowl had already started. Oh well, the game sucked anyway. First they dropped off Josh, and then me. I thanked them and I went inside. I sat down to watch the Super Bowl, and I talked to my family about the great time I had at the convention. They couldn’t believe how much money we all spent there…and that we went to an anime store to spend even more afterwards. I tried to focus on the game (and of course the commercials). It didn’t work though, all I could think about was how much fun I had, and how much more I would have next year!

I’d like to think that this is the longest Ohayocon report on the net! If you have your own Ohayocon report, or a convention report/pictures website, please e-mail me a hyperlink. If you were at Ohayocon, are going to ACen, or just want to talk about anime/cons, feel free to send me a message on AIM or IRC. I’d like to thank everyone who made it possible for this con to turn out so well! I’d also like to thank BCOA for the transportation and wonderful company throughout the con, as well as everything else. Thanks you guys! Pictures should be up soon!
