Gohan unleashes his unbelievable power and rocks the whole arena.
Hercule and his crew are blown back and the camers is destoryed. Cell
is angry that Gohan is so powerful, even though it's his fault in the
first place. Gohan snatches the senzu beans from cell and then destroys
2 of the Cell Jr's. One trys to attack Krillin to keep Gohan away. But
is scared away and then destroyed. Cell is angry and sends the other to
attack all at once. They use all of the z-fighters moves, but Gohan
just stands there, unscathed. He then kills the other 5 Cell Jr's. He
gives the senzu beans to Trunks to give to everyone and turns his eyes
on Cell....

Overall, I thought is was a awesome episode. Action packed and i
couldn't help but stand up off the couch and cheer while Gohan pummeled
the Cell Jr's. I can't wait tell tommorow.

Gohan again powers up to Super Saiyan 2. Everyone looks to where Gohan and
Cell are standing. They are shocked at Gohan's new power. Gohan snatches
the bag of sensu beans before Cell can tell what happened and says that the
game is over. Gohan then teleports, with incredible speed, in front of one
of the Cell Jrs. When the Cell Jr. attacks, Gohan simply sidesteps and
destroys the Cell Jr. with one blow. There are two Cell Jrs. standing by a
downed Krillin. Gohan teleports to them. One of them pick up the unconcious
Krillin and threaten to kill him(not in words of course). Gohan prepares to
blast them. One of them fly away. The Cell Jr. drops Krillin and jumps in
the air and blasts Gohan. When the smoke clears, Gohan is in the air with
Krillin. He teleports to the ground to lay Krillin down, teleports behind
the Cell Jr. and as soon as it turns around, Gohan lands a strong kick which
destroys the Cell Jr. The rest of the Cell Jrs. surround and attack Gohan.
He effortlessly dodges and kicks one of them destroying it. Cell Jrs. dash
toward Gohan. Gohan throws the bag of sensu beans(which he's had in his hand
the whole time) in the air and counter everyone of the Cell Jrs. attacks and
of course catches the bag of sensu beans. Gohan simply uses his energy and
blows all of the Cell Jrs. back. Piccolo picks Goku off the ground and holds
him over his shoulder. The Cell Jrs. now show that they too know all of the
Z warriors moves by throwing Krillin's Destructo Disk, shooting a Kamemeha
wave, using the Special Beam Cannon, and Teinshinhan's Tri Beam. Gohan
simply evades the Destructo Disk and when the smoke clears from the other
blasts, Gohan was still there with not a scratch. Gohan then let out a
massive amount of energy sending the Cell Jrs. flying. He then went after
each one. He commented on how he will never forgive any of them as he
destroyed one with an uppercut. Another was on the ground and Gohan appeared
behind him and destroyed it in one kick. Two more were flying away and
Gohan zipped past them. He destroyed one with a kick and the other with a
punch in the face. There was one more left. It tried to escape when Gohan
flew past it and backhanded it through two pillars and teleported behind it
and destroyed it in one last kick. Cell was enraged at Gohan for destroying
his "children". Gohan threw the sensu beans(which he STILL had in his hand)
to Trunks to give to everyone else. With Gohan now able to tap into his
hidden strength, Cell didn't stand a chance.

The episode begins when the enraged Gohan, after seeing his friends
hurt by the Cell JR.s and Android 16 destroyed by Cell, turns into a Super
Saiyan 2.Cell starts off by being excited by the prospect of Gohan's amazing
power.This then goes instead to awe and then finally fear.Gohan calmly walks
up to Cell and takes back the Sensu Beans that Cell stole from Krillin
without Cell being able to see Gohan move. He proceeds to annihilate the Cell
JR.s. With swiftness that is unbelievable the Cell JR.s break into dust after
minor blows from Gohan.Even after two Cell JR.s use the Speacial Beam
Cannon,Tri Beam,Kamehameha,and Destructo Disc Gohan is uneffected.The Cell
JR..s are quickly finished off.He throws the Sensu Beans to Trunks and then
confronts Cell himself.

OK so all that really happend Was Gohan beat up the cell jrs. one by one
kicking them and punching them and they expload in midair. The Z team Were so
sprised and mad they Wasted there time tring to kill the cell jrs. Cell got
nervous and then Gohan turned to cell and it Was over.

the cells of the greatest fighters. Gohan defeats the children of Cell easily.

Episode 170: The Unleashing
Okay, this is my first time writing one, but here's my review for the
episode of Dragonball Z called "The Unleashing." Starting up from the last
episode in which Android 16 gives Gohan his last advice before getting his
head smashed by Cell, Gohan is totally angered by Cell's action and has
finally begun to transform into Super Saiyan Level 2 (he had not changed form
yet in the last episode). Gohan also unleashes a huge wave with just his
energy that causes the camera to break... This causes everyone watching to be
kept guessing and makes Chi-Chi faint. Cell is definitely intrigued by now
and tells Gohan that the game can really begin now, but then Gohan quickly
snatches the Senzu beans out of Cell's hand and says, "No more games." Cell
is amazed at Gohan's ability, and the Z Fighters as well are astounded. The
Cell Juniors are still beating up on the Z-Team, but Gohan steps in
(literally) and systematically destroys each one of the Cell Juniors, usually
in one crushing blow. Even when there are still four Cell Juniors left and
each one of them uses a strong move (Destructo Disk! Kamehameha! Special
Beam Cannon! Triple Beam Attack!) in a final attempt to kill him, Gohan
remains when the smoke clears, and each of the Cell Juniors is then killed.
Cell is now angry ("What have you done?") and Gohan tosses Trunks the Senzu
bean bag and tells him to pass them around.... Now, the REAL fight between
Gohan and Perfect Cell can begin!

Next Episode: # 171- The Unstoppable Gohan
Well, I wonder what happens in this episode? Seems like Gohan is Earth's
last hope... Trust me, I'm not worried about that!

This episode was sweet! It started offwith Goku and Piccolo getting the crap beaten out of them. Then Gohan got super mad and the transformation began. Everyone stopped. Cell had a look on his face like this isn't funny anymore. Then you see Gohan's hair growing. A shockwave of energy knocks Hercule and the rest of the guys into a tree. Gohan starts walking toward Cell and when he's about 15 feet away he swipes the senzu beans away from Cell. Cell is amazed from his speed. Gohan flys up and kicks one of the Cell Jr. it blowsup with one hit, same with the other one. Now there are five left. Gohan blows them away with his power. They fly back and one trys a Distrocto Disc it misses. Then two attack at the same time one using a Kamehame and the other using Piccolo's attack( I don't know what it's called ). While Gohan is killing the Cell Jr. ChiChi is throwing a fit because the TV went fuzzy. Then she kicks her dad out of the house after braking mostly everything in it. Next episode Gohan starts the fight with Cell.

We all know that Gohan is getting his power up! When he is finished, a wave
of energy blows through the area, knocking out the TV camera. Chichi goes
nuts and practically destroys the house. Than Gohan snatches the sensa beans.
After he defeats the Cell Children with a wave of energy follwed up by a
flying teleportation kick, he tosses the beans to Trunks and tells him to
spread the beans around. He steps toward cell and Goku sais, "Now, cell, you
will see, and be destroyed for all the crimes you have committed!"

In the previous episode Gohan had started to turned Super Saiyan 2, and that was because of Cell's minions or Cell juniors had attacked and almost killed most of his friends.
In today's episode Gohan finished the trasformation and turned completely Super Saiyan 2. First thing he did to Cell was snatch the Sensu Beans from Cell's hand. Then he killed a Cell junior in just one punch. Then he killed another just as quickly. Then Cell, not impressed sent the oher five Cell juniors to "kill" Gohan. But SS2 Gohan proved more than a match for them. The next one he killed at first acted like he was going to kill Krillin then jumped in the air and shot 4 ki blasts but Gohan grabbed Krillin and jumped up before the blasts hit them. Gohan then killed four with only one hit each. Then at the last Cell junior Gohan punched him and Cell jr. was knocked through two cliffs and then Gohan killed him with another punch.

Summary: What we saw at the end of the last episode was just the beginning of Gohan's transformation. Cell assumes that it's just a power increase, like what Trunks did. The "mini-Cells" start beating up on the Z fighters again and Gohan says to stop it. The transformation continues. Gohan's muscles get bigger and he produces a very large energy wave that kills of the TV signal. Once again all fighting stops. The transformation leaves him with hair standing straight up, a larger aura, and small lighting-like energy bursting around him. Gohan says he will never forgive Cell for what he's done. There's nothing holding him back now.

Meanwhile, Chichi gets distressed that the TV signal is lost. Later, Ox-King tells her that Gohan is not a boy anymore and that he is the earth's only chance. Chichi gets mad and throws the TV and says that saving the world won't get him in to college and so on.

Gohan takes the senzu beans form Cell and proceeds to destroy the 7 mini-Cells one at time, with little effort. At one point the last 3 of them use Kamehamehas, Special Beam Cannons, Destructo Disks, and whatever Tien's special blast is called. Nothing phases Gohan. Vegeta is stunned as usual. Trunks says that Gohan has "done it", he's increased his speed with his power. Cell is visibly frustrated. Gohan throws Trunks the beans telling him to pass them around. We are left with Gohan standing in front of Cell.

Review: It's about time! I love it. As usual, I can't wait for the next episode, "Unstoppable Gohan!"

"The Unleashing" Episode #170

In this episode, Gohan does "unleash" on the Cell Jr.'s (or Mini-Cells,
as they are called in the dub). After powering up to SSJ2, (which was
OK in the dub, but I recommend seeing the original, if possible) Son
Gohan steals the senzu beans from Cell, and then demands that the Cell
Jr.'s stop attacking his friends. As expected, Cell ignores his
request, and allows them to continue pummeling up on his comrades.
Seeing that it is time to take action, Gohan takes out the Cell Jr.'s
one by one in great anime style. This doesn't make Cell too happy.
Gohan then hands the senzu over to Trunks, and asks him to distribute
them among the all of the Z fighters, so they can regain their
strength. As the proud Son Goku, as well as everyone else, looks on,
Gohan steps up to the enraged Cell and prepares to begin the battle for
earth...

This episode was great. The translations were almost dead-on, and
nearly all of the violence was untouched. The only edit I could really
pick out, which was very cleverly done, was whenever Son Gohan tore
apart (literally) the Cell Jr.'s. In the original, he breaks them in
half and even knocks the head off of one! In the dub, these mutilations
were simply snipped and covered up by the smoke left after Gohan's
blows. All in all, a good job and an entertaining episode.

kids out on gohan to see how strong he has become. cells kids all know gohans
moves but as they use them on him he doesnt even get a scratch on his body.
so then he kicks all their asses. Vegita gets really pissed because hes
jealous of gohans power everyone else is happy and is relieved that they have

This is a review of the English dubbed episode of Dragonball Z

Episode #170 The Unleashing

This episode is mainly about Gohan turning Super Saiyijn 2. It first starts

out with a little summary, if you will, of the previous episode, where Cell

releases the Cell Jr.'s. After that, the Cell Jr.'s start beating up the

rest of the Z warriors, quite easily, while Gohan is just standing there

shocked and crying. After a few beatings from the Cell Jr.'s, we then turn

back to the normal STUPID humans. It shows them talk a little bit

until,suddenly, #16 starts talking. #16 tells them that he wants Mr. Satan (

Hercule) to throw him in the battlefield. Mr. Satan, eventually, agrees and

does what he is told. After arriving on the battlefield, #16 states some

inspiring words to Gohan and gets stomped on the head by Cell because of it.

This leads to the death of the valiant android, killing him once and for

all. Seeing this, Gohan turns into the powerful and cool looking Super

Sayijn 2.

I'd have to say this is one of the most disappointing episodes I have

ever seen. Mainly due to the part of Gohan turning SS2. Everything pretty

much stayed in the original context of the Japanese episode except for the

removal of #16's blood. But, they took out the key ingredient which made

this episode memorable to so many people, they took out the Spirit Vs. Spirit

song when Gohan was turning SS2 and replaced it with him whining and talking

to himself. What is FUNimation thinking? This led the episode to be less

dramatic and the scene with Gohan turning SS2 less powerful. All I have to

say is good job FUNimation for another blunder on your part.
