U.S. Dragon Ball Z - Episode Summaries

Episode 64 - The Last of Mercenary Tao

This is for the DragonBall series. English dubbed. My name is Chantelle and I am a big fan of both Dragonball and Dragonball Z series. The episode I am summarizing is "The Last of Mercenary Tao."

Goku was still trying to get the Sacred Water from Korin. When he finally got it, he drank it. Goku found out that it was just tap water! The running increased his speed, the climbing up Korin Tower increased his endurabilty, and since Goku was so focused on trying to get the water, it helped him move faster. Goku then took off back down to where Upa was. As the sun was about to set, Upa was down by the river getting some water. He looked at the tower and thought he saw something. But he just thought it was his imagination and that it was just too fast. Upa went back to his teepee. That was when Goku showed up! He told Upa that he made it to the top of Korin Tower and tried to get the Sacred Water for 3 days. A little while later, Mercenary Tao got his suit back from the tailor. But he shot the tailor because the tailor only wanted a little reward for his hard work.

Mercenary Tao grabbed the log he had and threw it in the air and jumped on it. He was off to find Goku and fight him at The Land of Korin. When Tao got there, he found Goku and Upa in the teepee. Goku told Upa to hide somewhere so he wouldn't get hurt. Tao started to try to hit Goku but missed. He kept trying until he noticed that he was the one losing and Goku winning. He asked Goku how he got so fast. Goku told him that he climbed Korin Tower and got the Sacred Water. Tao said, "Well that explains how you got so fast. So...It is possible that there is a Sacred Water. Well, I'll just have to climb it." And he did. When he got to the top, he found Korin and asked for the Sacred Water. Korin just said, "Why would you want to drink tap water??" Tao answered, "Tap water? The Sacred Water isn't sacred???" Korin said yes. But Korin told Tao that his strength increased. Tao tested it by using he Dodon Wave on the pole near him. There was no effect. Tao was about to kill Korin but Korin made the pole break (without Tao looking of course). Tao went back down on a black cloud similar to Goku's that Korin let him borrow.

Korin made sure Tao fell of the cloud. When Tao got to the bottom, Tao started beating Goku and Goku started beating Tao. Tao realised that he was about to lose to a child so he pulled out a bomb. He pulled it and jumped in the air. Goku grabbed the bomb before it exploded and threw it in the air. It was at Mercenary Tao's level and the bomb blew up, which killed Mercenary Tao. The episode ended with Goku saying that he will find all of the DragonBalls and bring back Upa's father back to life.
