Japanese Dragon Ball - Episode Summaries Episode 62 - The Effects of Holy Water ... ? Series: Dragon Ball ·
The storm over Karin Tower continues. Goku
is shocked that it took KameSennin 3 years to get the
Holy Water. Goku says he doesn’t have 3 years to save
Upa from Tao Pai Pai. He adds that he must get the water
today or tomorrow, and get stronger. Karin walks away,
deciding to take a nap for a few days. Goku refuses, and
leaps in, leaving behind many Zanzoken images. Karin
leaps up and kicks an after image. Goku, thinking Karin
has been fooled, leaps at Karin, but only goes through
an after image, slamming to the ground. The real Karin
asks if Goku liked his counter move, and walks away to
take his nap. Goku wants to attack again, but is too
tired. Karin gets into his bed, and Goku lunges at him.
Goku quickly stops, also being too hungry. Karin walks away, deciding to eat instead, as he hasn’t
eaten for about 500 years. Goku has fallen asleep. The
storm soon passes. Karin is cooking a fish. Goku
awakens, and rushes hungrily toward the fish. Karin
tosses a strange bean to Goku, telling him to eat it.
Goku is angered that he has to eat such a small bean,
and Karin says it is a Senzu Bean, which is worth eating
10 days of food. Goku eats the Senzu Bean, and quickly
becomes full. Karin
asks if Goku feels winded now, as he washes some dishes.
Karin finds the sack with the 4 star Dragon Ball on the
floor, thinking it is trash, and tosses it off the
tower. Goku frantically asks why Karin did that, and he
starts climbing back down the tower at high speed, to
get it back. Karin simply chuckles to himself. ·
Down below, it is sunset in the land of
Karin, as Upa washes his face by the river, and walks
away. At the base of the tower, Goku lands, and searches
around for the Dragon Ball. Goku finds the Dragon Ball,
and quickly leaps back up the tower. Upa walks in,
wondering what that just was. ·
Back at the top of Karin Tower, it is now
night time. As Goku climbs, the top comes back into
view. Karin is faking sleep, and is impressed that Goku
has made it back to the top in only 3 hours. It had
taken Goku 1 full day to reach the top, the first time.
Goku leaps in, and angrily tells Karin that his Dragon
Ball is a valuable. Goku tries waking Karin up. Karin
wakes up, and laughs. Soon, Karin is once again asleep,
as Goku sneaks toward him. Goku plans to take the Holy
Water while Karin sleeps. Goku is about to grab it, but
decides not to cheat, and goes back to sleep. Karin, who
is once again faking sleep, thinks to himself that Goku
is honest. Karin thinks that Goku’s Zanzoken was
impressive, and looks forward to tomorrow. ·
The next morning, Goku tries sneaking up
on Karin. Goku keeps trying to grab the Holy Water, but
Karin always pulls it away at the last second. Karin
says that Goku isn’t reading his movements at all, and
smacks him in the face with his staff. Karin leaps away,
and the chase continues. Karin uses multiple Zanzoken
images, which dance around Goku, fooling him. The chase
continues on throughout the day, but Goku still fails. ·
Meanwhile, at the hotel, at sunset, Tao
Pai Pai sits in his hotel room, and remembers the moment
when he hit Goku with Dodonna. He guesses that Goku’s
Dragon Ball saved him. Tao walks to the window, and says
that Goku has one day left to live. ·
Back at the land of Karin, at night time,
Upa prays to his father’s grave, telling him that Goku
will come back, much stronger. ·
Back at the top of the tower, Goku lunges
at Karin, who uses Zanzoken to fool him. Karin leaps in
from behind, and kicks Goku to the ground. Goku is
tired, and Karin says he gets tired too quickly. Karin
decides to call it a day, and walks away, thinking about
how much Goku is improving. Goku, laying on the ground,
thinks about Upa. He wonders how long it will take him
to get the water, as 3 years it too much. Goku walks
over to a pot of water, and opens it up. An image
appears, of Bulma teaching KameSennin, Kuririn, and
Lunch (evil form) aerobics. Goku laughs at the sight.
Goku remembers what Karin had said about reading
movements, and finally understands. Goku lays down, and
imitates every movement that the sleeping Karin makes. ·
The next morning, Goku stands watching the
sunrise, determined. Goku steps over to Karin, saying he
will get the Holy Water today. Goku lunges at Karin, who
dodges all of his swipes, and fades. Karin leaps onto a
pillar, and leaps at Goku, who uses Zanzoken. Karin
dodges more swipes from Goku. Karin leaps away, followed
by Goku. Goku tickles Karin, causing him to drop his
staff and the Holy Water over the edge. Goku leaps off
the edge of the tower, and Karin yells for him to stop,
or he will fall. Karin runs to the edge, and is shocked
to see Goku hanging from his tail, with the staff and
Holy Water. Goku
leaps up, and happily says he has gotten it. Karin is
impressed that Goku got the water in only 3 days. Goku
asks if he can drink it, and Karin tells him to go
ahead. Goku drinks the Holy Water, and says he doesn’t
feel any different. Karin says it is just plain water,
and Goku is shocked, thinking he has been tricked. Karin
laughs, and says that Goku’s strength is already
multiplied. Goku wonders what he means, and Karin
explains that climbing the tower and chasing him was all
training, which made Goku stronger. Goku happily
understands. ·
Meanwhile, at the tailor, Tao Pai Pai
tries on the new version of his old outfit, and thanks
the tailor. Tao walks away, deciding to get the last
Dragon Ball, when the tailor asks for payment. Tao asks
if the tailor is asking the World’s #1 Assassin for
money, and the tailor nervously says that he needs to
make a living, too. Tao offers to kill someone for the
tailor, but he doesn’t need anyone killed, so Tao
decides to kill him, instead. Tao touches the tailor on
the head at a high speed, killing him. Tao walks away. ·
Back at Karin Tower, Goku practices some
attacks. Karin says Goku should go and test his power.
Goku thanks Karin, and says good bye, as he leaves.
Karin says that Goku may already have surpassed
KameSennin. Goku happily climbs down the tower, thinking
he will succeed. ·
Meanwhile, Tao throws his pillar, and
leaps onto it, flying back toward the land of Karin to
get the Dragon Ball and kill Goku.
