Japanese Dragon Ball  - Episode Summaries

Episode 148

In this episode Krillin is still fighting Piccolo Jr. But after the
orange/yellow ki blasts and the Bukujutsu, the small seized
warrior hasn't got any more tricks up his sleeve (I mean wrist band) .
After getting beat up a little more by Jounior,
Krillin gets mad and unleashes a powerful Kamehameha.
Piccolo Jr. escapes it and gives the unsuspecting Krillin
a double punch, knocking him to the ground so hard that
he breaks some arena blocks. The referee starts counting
and Krillin reluctlantly gets up, but he gives up.
SonGoku comes and helps his friend up and out of the arena.
Now Yamcha will fight the symple looking Shen. Everybody
jokes about Shen, that he will get pumelld by Yamcha.
Yamcha does some easy punches, but suprisingly, the
little man dodges them very agile. Yamcha does his
Rouga fufuken but Shen keeps catching his punches.
He than tells him that he should watch his feet to. He
than kicks Yamcha's knee.
Yamcha than attempts some kicks but Shen dodges them with
amazing speed. Yamcha's mad and does a flying kick,
but Shen ducks a little and Yamcha lands his crotch very
hard on Shen's head.
Between laughters, the referee says there will be no counting.
Yamcha eventualy gets up. He along with everybody else
is amazed that such a silly looking man is making a fool
out of him.

Thoughts:  Krillin is amazing. Almost after every long training session,
he learns or comes up with new techniques. Piccolo Jounior shows that
he's a chip of the
ol' Daimao block. Yamcha shows us again that he is to
coky. The fights in this episode were great.
