I have attempted the Evil Buu deck you viewed previously with anger, and frankly, it did not work as well.  The level one, and it's power allows me to throw an attack (usually a very large one, given Red Mastery, Alt. Dende DB 2, and Buu's simple large stages) that my opponent must either block, and give me a card, or take, and absorb a large amount of damage.  It also gains stages, helpful in the soaking of physical attacks.

As such, I have reworked the deck some, in hopes of attending the Comic-Con in Vegas to qualify for GKI.  This is the current incarnation.  Also, will such an event have TE events?  If so, I possess a Broly deck for TE that I would appreciate your help on.
Following is the deck, and rationale for cards.  Also, I would appreciate help filling my sensei deck.  Aside from that, I am looking to cut 3 cards for Android #18's Staredowns, and possibly four, for the four Majin Buu's Fury I plan to acquire from Yamcha Season you wins.  I have little to no chance to acquire 4 Childish Taunts by October 31st, so I may run the single one I have, or I may not.  Reguardelss, I desire to hear your suggestions.

1 Alt. Dende Dragonball 2 (for the +3 to all physicals)

(NON-COMBATS)
1 Expectant Trunks (to pull a key card)
1 Victorious Drill (to hose anger)
1 Vegeta's Quickness Drill (for an extra card draw)

(BATTLEGROUNDS/LOCATIONS)
3 City In Turmoil (general noncombat hate)

(COMBATS)
1 The Power of the Dragon (hopefully will set DB decks a turn back)
1 Cell's Threatening Position (hopefully will set anger decks back)
1 Android #17 Smirks (to kill freestyle mastery decks)
1 Dazed (combat ender)
1 Super Saiyan Effect (combat ender/defense)
3 Trunks Energy Sphere (limited counterspell, but very useful)
2 Cell's Presence (allies get in Cell's belly)

3 Pikkon's Leg Catch (possibly the best block not named Black Body Destruction)
3 Trunks Swiftly Moving (returns an attack to sender)
3 Red Power Block (removes a drill, and does 2 damage)
3 Red Duck (regen, and the only other red styled block that does not give anger with a decent effect, this is replaceable, suggestions?)
3 Majin's Perfect Defense (omni-block)
3 Red Slide (should hurt namekian setup, and possibly blue)
1 Majin Buu's Invincibility
1 Cell's Defense
1 Time is a Warrior's Tool
1 Nappa's Physical Resistence
1 Vegeta's Physical Stance
1 Nappa's Energy Aura
1 Frieza's Force Bubble (the staple all-blocks, and buu's addition)

(ATTACKS)
1 Cell's Backslap (self-cycling with damage)
3 Majin Vegeta's Frantic Attack (a double attack)
3 Gohan's Kick (anti all-block and combat ending)
3 Straining Reversal Move (a large + 5 attack that lowers my own anger)
3 Red Double Strike (a double attack)
3 Red Jump Kick (anti-anger, possibly replaceable with Mouth Cannon, testing will determine this)
3 Red Face Slap (a +3 ptt on a stick)
3 Red Back Kick (anti-energy)
3 Red Tilted Punch (in Standard, combats will be run, so this will punch people in the face three times)
3 Red Shattering Leap (a double attack)
3 Red Whiplash (mostly the same principle as evil buu, block the attack and give me a card, or take a big amount of damage)
3 Red Lifting Kick (huge attack that lowers my own anger)
3 Red Vigor Orb (instant speed ally/drill removal)

Your help is appreciated.

************ Sorry to hear the other version didn't work as well, and sorry for not getting back to you earlier. I have been bogged down with a ton of work and I decided to take some free time to do some dech teching... There are quite a few people on Fanatics with Childish Taunts, and I bet you can find a few people at Vegas with them. You really only need a couple seeing you will Mastery for it first or second turn and use it, and the effects last for the remainder of the game. I would run a couple just in case you sensei one out. Never mind you are playing Red. LOL. Um... well then I guess you can try for some more I guess. I am told there is a TE on Sunday, but don't take my word for it. I heard this from gamersource.

Anyway... to the deck. I still think the MBS level 4 is much better, but of course use what you wish. Sensei deck... I would throw in 2x Black Scout Maneuver, never know when there's a specific card that needs to be removed. A fun card I like to throw into Red CS decks is Evil Presence Drill. As for the rest, I usually try to add some A Hero's Heart is Strong just in case of discard dependant decks, and maybe run cards like Red Drop if you can't think of anything else. Red Pressured Attack is a card I like to run just to really mess up Orange Drill decks. In your non-combats, I would try to add Fatherly Advice (if you have it) and Foreboding Evidence and Frieza is Ready. I usually try to run those if I can. But you do run City In Turmoil, so that's up to you. I'd still run FA if you could though. Trunks Swiftly Moving, Red Duck and Red Power Block are iffy. Funny that you want to stick around on level 1 though. I've even seen Gohan's Elbow Block run in physical decks that run Kick, Heroic Uppercut, Power Hit, and Nimbus Cloud. Taking a look at my Red CS deck... lol I run Power Block. I also run Underdog Drop Kick, and while you can't, you might consider Goku's Flight.

Also, Goku's Quick Dodge is a decent PLC look alike you might want to consider. But in your case, you run a bit too much physical defense for my taste. Ten with some omnis should be more than enough. Nothing is worse than having physical blocks against energy decks. Here is the area you can skimp to fit in those cards you just attained/are attempting to. Straining Reversal Move still scares me. For some random reason I'm thinking Android 18's Pressure Routine. Anyway, you could run Gohan's Heroic Uppercut and Gohan's Power Hit. Both are really nice physical attacks if you ask me. You might want to consider Majin Buu's Bicycle Kick for decent anti-anger; in a sense better than Red Jump Kick. In my experience, Mouth Cannon worked a lot better than Jump Kick. And yes you need Majin Buu's Fury. If you need to take out an attack, Reversal Move screams to be the first to go. Just doesn't seem worth running it. And with that... see you in Vegas!

If you need some more help, let me know. I might of missed something (I always do) but for the most part that should help. -- matthewlow@franceslow.com
