For Red Anger, if you want to win that way, go with a character that has a good high level or a level 5. The key with Red Anger is to win by Most Powerful Personality Victory, and thus you need to play with 5 levels. The reason for that is if you run into decks that run a level 5 and you don't, you can't win by Most Powerful Personality Victory. I like to use Gohan, but Goku is good as well. Cell isn't too bad either; he's somewhat like Gohan, but he's a villian. Villians have the upper hand in a sense as they have Cell's Threatening Position and many good Villian only cards. Goku and Gohan have specific cards that help them (Chi-Chi, Goku's Physical Attack, Face Off). Gohan's ability to mess up attaching cards like Goku's Heart Disease makes him a strong character. Majin Vegeta can be used as well with Face Off and many of the Majin cards like Majin Quickness, but personally I would stick with Goku or Gohan. That's just player preference, but they can work nicely. I also run a Red Android 20 deck that is meant to get to his level 3 to deal out serious damage. It is very weird because of the sheer fact it is an anger deck without a Level 5. Decks like these can work if you have a reason planned out. Orange Physical Beatdown works best with Cell Level 1 HT. Cell has a built in Physical attack doing +3 and can be used twice. With many modifiers around like Orange Joint Restraint Drill and the Mastery itself, they can be boosted up and deal out a lot of damage. Other characters like Chi-Chi and Android 15 are also very good options with physicals as their powers. I'm sure there are many other good characters to use Orange Physical with, like Majin Vegeta, you just have to find them. Orange Energy Beatdown is a faded archtype, but it still can be played nicely with cards like Orange Scatter Shot and Orange Stare Down. Attempt to use characters that can take advantage of multiple Drills like Orange Focusing Drill coupled with Android 20's Absorbing Drill and Android Attack Drill for example for lockdown and good damage. Android 19, with the new Android 19's Dodge, fits nicely into Orange Energy. Android 18 was amazing back in the day and still can be used here. I've always liked Krillin, but he has a lack of deck manipulation that is needed with the luck factor and the lots of non-combats (drills) run in Orange. There are a million ways to go and you really can't go too wrong. Look at the personality's powers and judge if they will help you in completing your desired way of winning. That will help you decide which character to go as. ---------- Original Message ---------------------------------- From: GotenksSSJ588@aol.com Date: Sun, 4 May 2003 15:39:19 EDT >I need some good ideas for a deck +MP for red anger and orange physical >beatdown+energy beatdown i have a lot of MP's and if I can go get one > -- matthewlow@franceslow.com "You will not be allowed to do this to anyone else!" - Gohan --
