I bought a starter set and I got a Gohan one :( But anyway , I highly recomend putting Gohan's anger and Goku's attack In any Deck because those are 2 AWSOME cards! Gohan's Anger Raises your anger by 2 and decreases every villans anger by one... That's good! And Goku's Attack punches opponant for FIVE life cards!!! I have 3 of those in my deck! That's all I have two say and I'm buying a Villan starter set Sunday! - PokeBeanies --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Well, I just started the game, but being a good player at M:TG and Pokemon, I realized you need themes in your deck, although not as much in this game, because the colors can be used by all people except Green(Saiya-jin), which is limited to Saiya-jins. I am probably the best player in my group(I really believe this), because I have picked out various themes. Personally, the best decks have themes. Tokui Waza(toe-koo-ee wah-zah)-Not a theme, but complements themes, as they can be limited to one color. It gives your Main Personality +1 Power Up and you can have an unlimited number of Move cards. Sadly, Move cards rarely fit your theme. Black is hardest to do this with, personally(I should know, its my TW), as it is the least common of the colors. Red or Blue seems most common. Anger Beatdown-Its what I play. Use cards that raise your anger quickly and efficiently. Black is best at this, but lacks good Phys ability, so only use Phys Moves in a TW. I play Raditz and my friend Vegeta, but I still swamp him. He plays TW-Sj, and cannot do much with Anger, so I can still lay the smack down, just late-game. Anti-Anger-Blue is the greatest at this, and sometimes raises its Anger at the same time. Be sure, when you play this, to have cards that increase your Anger, too, or whats the point? Damage Prevention-Saiya-jin is best at this. Their cards can stop a named foe from attacking next combat round with a certain kind of attack. Some effects last all combat. A powerful staller/controller, it takes skill and luck to play, but can be overwhelming. Well, this is all I know of for now. As you know, one of the ways to win in this game is buy "decking" the opponent. For those who don't know, it's when you run out of to draw from your Life Card Pile. When that happens, you lose! So, if your fighting someone who's strategy is to deck the opponent, if you only have 50 cards, you are going to lose. So, always have 75 cards in your deck, the max, when going to tournaments. And remember, you people with 175 card decks CAN NOT bring that in to a tourney, but otherwise it's O.K. Later! - evsoccerm
