Danny

The second gym leader in the Orange League is Danny. He has three contests. If you win 2 out of 3, you win the badge. The first one is to see who can freeze hot water the fastest. Danny will use his Nidoqueen for this. Ash’s Lapras almost won this contest, but lost by a few seconds. The next contest is to build a sled out of the ice you just froze. Danny will use Machoke, Scyther and Nidoqueen. Ash used Pikachu, Bulbasaur and Charizard and just beat Danny by a couple of seconds. The final contest is to sled down the mountain with the sleds using 3 Pokemon. Danny uses Scyther, Geodude and Electrode. Ash, using Squirtle, Bulbasaur, and Pikachu, barely defeated Danny and won the Sea Ruby Badge.  - Petey
