A lot of people looked forward to this for Kagero more than the Ace. I don't blame them, despite the fact I'm not one of them. Zahm packs a pretty bitchin' ability: any time you retire an opposing unit via a skill that isn't Zahm's, CB1 to retire something else.

In anything that can work to start a chain, this is a must. In a Blademaster-based deck, Blademaster into Zahm into Sadegh into Zahm means CB3 and -1 to +4 in card advantage as a FIRST Stride. Or in the X, Burnout or Twilight Arrow Dragon can start the process off for you. It's pretty awesome. Unless you're me and use Blademaster in the X as well. Heheheheheheh.

Due to cost restraints it's not really a 4-of but it's still a must for almost every Kagero deck to exist that currently matters. It's simple, but it's oh-so-effective.

Here's a simple one, Berserk Dragon/Dragonic Burnout/GBCBX/Gattling Claw Dragon/Kimnara/some other retire I can't think of off the top of my head kills an opponent's rear guard, CB1 to kill another rear guard, though, if you use Berserk, you use up a LOT of Counter Blasts.

I suppose if you didn't get The Ace, can't get Root Flare and only have Mahmud, this is pretty good.  Otherwise, you have some better options for Kagero Strides.

See you next week, folks.
