Ah, G-Shadows. Mixed feelings about this. One one hand, neat units. On the other, slower than Revengers and has no tricks apart from this guy and David that Revengers can't also do faster. In this day and age, I'd rather have the faster deck.

Anyway, Aurageyser Dragon has a rather unusual skill; namely, his entire skill doesn't ever need to depend on having Stridden before, despite being a G Persona Blast and NOT needing a specific heart. Anyway, on attack, Counterblast 1, Soulblast 1 and retire two of your rear-guards to add the top two cards of your deck to your hand. Then he gains 5k power for every G1 or below unit added to the hand this way.

It's basically a big bad Il Dona, converting field into hand. But there is a way to mitigate it into an actual +1 if you retire David, or Charon if you strode this over Blaster Dark "Diablo". It's neat, but there's something that bothers me about him.

Aurageyser is not worth any more than one go with him. Aurageyser goes +1 up sacking David, who was forced on the field in the first place and short of Kagero, Gear Chronicle etc. that's where he'll stay. After this, you can simply use your other unit's skills such as Claret Sword or Macha to fetch a Black-Winged Swordbreaker if you really have to use up the last Soul but still want a +1 either way. Your G-Unit will be so powerful he generally won't need a booster so it may work out better for you not needing to call a board from the hand. He's not worth deliberately running more Davids in here for the purpose of spamming the skill. By that point you'd want to Stride something like Phantom Blaster "Diablo" for the better finishing game

Aurageyser should only exist for the purpose of Blaster Dark "Diablo"'s GB2 or if you need to gather a hand quickly for a kill next turn because he can't reasonably justify 4 copies of him at the moment.

...I'm imagining this thing yelling like Terry Bogard going "AURA GEYSER!"

You cannot unhear it!

So, according to the Lore, Aurageyser here...  Shouldn't even exist.  Unlike other Stride units called from the far past or alternate possible futures, this one doesn't have a future to be called from.  Even Chronojet Dragon can't figure it out, and he's a master of time!

Anyone got a spare set of keys for the Gates of Time?  It might help us find out where this thing comes from.

So, the cost is CB1, SB1, Persona Flip, retire two of your rear guards when attacking the Vanguard.  When you do that, you reveal the top two cards of your deck and this gets +5000 for each grade 1 or lower unit revealed this way, then add the revealed units to your hand.

So, basically, we have the Stride version of Origin Mage, Ildona.

Oh, and this can be your first stride in the game.  Hmm, I think I like this more than Grim Recruiter, but then again, you need four to use Aurageyser twice, you just need two Grim Recruiters to make him work twice.

At least he sets up all the GB2 Shadow Paladin skills, which is nice.

Oh, and apparently there's a new form of him in G-BT04.  Huh, wonder what that'll be...  Stride on top of a Stride unit?  Cross-Stride?  Gets a skill if you have Aurageyser Dragon face-up in the G-Zone?  Who knows?  Course, I could be wrong, but the name and the look is similar to this one, so...
