Top ten anime of all time - Barnaby Coppen

My name is Barnaby Coppen and this my contribution to pojo, these are my carefully chosen and formally opinionated top ten anime OF ALL TIME . . .

10. Pokemon
Now days I have grown away from Pokemon but when I was a young kid I always saw Pokemon as my favourite anime and someday hoped I would be a Pokemon master. That dream never came true however to this day I still remember Pokemon and can never forget it.

9. Speed Racer
Just like Pokemon I remember watching Speed Racer as a young kid, it's a bit of a classic and that's why it's no. 9 on my top ten anime list.

8. Cowboy Be-bop
Cowboy be-bop is filled with action, tradgedy, comedy and sophistication which has made it become a well known high level impact anime and has almost all the good qualities of a great anime.

7. Dragon Ball
Unlike the sequel Dragon Ball Z, Dragon Ball is a more light and humerous type of anime. Unfortunatley the origional creators sold the idea to another company who made the other sequel Dragon Ball GT. Dragon Ball GT is one of the worst anime EVER and is not in the league of a true fan. With a better storyline and creative characters the origional Dragon Ball shows classic animation skills.

6. Lupin the Third
Lupin the Third opens up into the world of theves. It is very funny and quite strongly recommended.

5. Fist of the North Star
Such a bloody good anime, quite literally! This incredably violent anime has got to be the BEST kung-fu anime i've ever seen! The strong impact level of action and martial arts traditioin gives the anime a gripping story!

4. Full Metal Alchemist
Brilliant, amazing and definatley one of, if not the, GREATEST ANIME EVER! The story is tradgic yet funny and exciting. This newly released anime has become extremley popular and topping reviews. Is this anime is almost too great for words? Never the less this is why it has landed a spot at no. 4 on my list of top ten anime!

3. One Piece
". . . yo ho ho he took a bite of gum, gum." His name is Monkey D. Luffey and he's going to be king of the pirates! Due to the origional and creative characters, setting and story, this is one underestimated anime you simply cannot delay any longer! A rubber boy and his pirate crew search through wierd waters for the treasure that would make thier dreams come true. However in wierd waters there are wierd enemies ready to pounce, for example a hypnotist who putts himself to sleep and a mysterious clown who can chop himself into pieces. . . and live! The overexagerated style of animation gives this anime all the more origionality you could want, this is why 'One Piece' is setting sail on my list at no. 3!

2. Akira
What words can describe such a masterpiece, somthing that is truly an inspirational film causing anime history? This classic is such that i'd give it 10 out of 10 any day.

1. Trigun
Trigun is now one of the most popular anime and has earned my no. 1 spot! Though the story is set in the Western 1800's it however contains futureistic type technology alot like that of Cowboy Be-bop. The story follows the halarious misadventures of Vash the Stampede, a wanted man with $$60 000 000 000 on his head! Though Vash seems dangerous the story shows he is really quite harmless and believes all things deserve a chance to live. The story has the best combination of comedy and action iv'e ever seen! This anime definatley deserves to be my favourite anime of all time!!!
