A strategy for
SABRINA'S KADABRA
of the Gym Challenge Set
This
is J.R.Wright here and I am going to tell you about this combo I found the
other day while I was battling a friend and I thought if only this attack would
knock em out instead of just bringing'em down to 10 HP remaining.
This combo involves two cards one which
is SABRINA'S KADABRA from
the Gym Challenge set, and a PLUSPOWER from Base Set or Base Set 2.
I am going to explain which each card does in the manner of the attack I am
going to use, first Life Drain attack.
Life Drain:
Flip a coin if heads put a number of damage counters on the defending pokemon
untill it's remaining HP is 10, If tails this attack does nothing.
And the PLUSPOWER card-
PLUSPOWER:attach pluspower to your active pokemon. At the end of your turn
discard pluspower. If this pokemon's attack damages the defending pokemon add
10 more damage to that pokemon.
This isn't exact word for word but about the same. Well, here is how I
thought to use these cards.
First you evolve into SABRINA'S KADABRA and
set a psychic energy down on it if you didn't already. Then set
your PLUSPOWER down on SABRINA'S
KADABRA and use SABRINA'S
KADABRA'S Life Drain attack and if you manage to
get a heads then you would put him down to 10
HP left and with a PLUSPOWER you
ADD TEN MORE TO FINISH IT OFF.
I will give an example below:
Say you had a base set BLASTOISE and
you used life drain and got
heads you would put 90 damage onto
it and officially you did damage too it with
an attack so the PLUSPOWER puts
on ten more damage to knock it out for a prize.
