Hello again from Scooter,
This is in response of my last post, which basically claimed Electabuzz to be the best lightning pokemon.  Now, since some people seem to be thicker than others, I'm going to have to once again explain my thinking.
In this, I'm going to address certain aspects of each card, and of my report, in the following order they will be:
1) Combos and Rockets Zapdos
2) Raichu
3) Electabuzz in decks
4) A follow to which card is better

1) Combos and Rockets Zapdos
As many people have pointed out to me, yes, Rockets Zapdos is a combo card.  I goes well with Metal energy (thank you Jason), Gold Berry, and many other cards.  And I knew this, I played Rockets Zapdos.  In fact, I used 3 Lightning energy and a DCE, then I could retreat very easily any time I wanted.  In my report, I compared the two cards in a "raw" state, meaning NO COMBOS.  This is why some people think that I overlooked combos, I didn't, I wanted to show you a few things.  The main one being that without combos (hey, you can't always pull them off), which one would be a better standing card.

2) Raichu
Look, I don't like him too much or use him (oh, and for anyone not on the same page here, I'm talking about the basic).  But, look through the lightning collection, and it's measly pickings to find any cards that could possibly stand by themselves (this is why I didn't include say, LT Surges Electabuzz, it doesn't stand a chance without some sort of support).  Raichu isn't all that bad, and once again, Lightning is measly pickings.  Furthermore, I thought I made it very clear that I saw him where I am, not in your area, I don't know about that.  This is what the metagame here sometimes contains.

3) Electabuzz in decks
One of the main points I was trying to make throughout my report (and sorry if I didn't make it) was that Electabuzz and Rockets Zapdos are different, Electabuzz stands much better by itself.  Zappy is a people person, Buzz is antisocial.  I also said that Buzz can pretty much go in any deck, and it does.  I played a Venusaur deck once upon a time that had Buzz in it.  Zapdos basically goes in a lightning deck that recklessly discards energy.

4) A follow to which card is better
Again, I will make it very clear that trying to compare Buzz and Zappy is like trying to compare Jungle Scyther with the Neo one.  They are different cards meant to do different things.  This is not to say that a good combo for Zapdos is in fact...Buzz, it's just that they can be used in different ways.  One last thing I have to say, many people have pointed out how I "neglected" to mention that Zapdos has a first attack, and that if he used it, it would add 40 damage by the second turn.  And that would of course make it infinately superior to Buzz.  Funny that no one seemed to mention that Buzz also has a first attack, which will add a measly ten damage, still...  In any case, Buzz's first attack, which is obviously not as good as Zapdos, can paralyze.  Pathetic as it may seem, it can be used to stall for the win (which I have done many times).  So, I thought I made it clear that this was to compare the main attacks of Buzz and
Again, Buzz is best used in an energy starved deck, where it scrapes to get those two energy, and your trainers bash your opponent, fun.  Zapdos doesn't survive here, he needs a lot of energy, both to attack and to sponge.
