There have been many formats in the past few years. Originally to stop the Haymakers and Wigglytuff and later on Rocket On. They were supposed to help but all people did was hate them.

While looking through past Tips and Tricks I found that peoples main complaints were:

1. I don't have all the new cards.

2. It only makes the other decks that much stronger.

3.  It doesn't even go along with Wizards Ideas of Evolution.

Well I have found a format that works and goes along with what the people want.

Drum roll please... Commons and Uncommons Only!! Wait wheres everyone going. (sigh)

Well those of you that are left might as well here what I have to say.

Commons and Uncommons only is great. They are all cheap to get. And most people already have the cards they need to make a deck. And think no sneasel, no Rockets Zapdos. People will look at cards they never even thought of looking at before like Persian and Wartortle.

Someone might say that it limits playability and there aren't any good un/common cards. Well then think again. What about Blaines  Rapidash, Dark Golduck, Persian,  Wartortle, theres a ton of fighting and Dark Muk. And don't forget, almost all of the trainers are uncommon. But they won't be abused as much without Wiggly and Sneasel and the whole Haymaker bunch.

People will think again. Psychic and fighting will come back with a venegance but there will be others to counter them.

There is one bad thing though. Almost every single stage two is a rare. So we have to leave evolving in the dust.

I say lets give it a try and see what the environment brings with Uncommons and Commons
