Sorry, Charlie, close, but no cigar. I almost made the same mistake one time. Professor Oak and Ecogym are NOT a combo. Read the text carefully: "...discards non-colorless energy FROM A POKEMON, that energy goes back to the owner's hand." Notice how it says FROM A POKEMON. Not, from the hand, but FROM A POKEMON. It must be attached to a pokemon for it to count. Hope no one got confused and tryed to do that and got kicked out of some tounament.
