Ok, first off is this. I propose that Iggly (Hate the little piece of junk) can beat Iggly. (This is sick) Here's the situation: You have a Dark Plume deck. Your opponent has a Dark Plume deck. Both of you have Igglys (why?) that are gazing each other's Dark Plume. Stalemate, pretty much. Well, here's an idea. You may not think that Iggly can beat Iggly, but it can. Give your opponent a proposal. Tell them that you want use Gaze if they don't. they'll probably agree. Make sure you shake though, so they don't cheat and use Gaze. In all seriousness, it works. Me and my cousin were both playing Gengar (F)/Poison decks, and we kept on Cursing the heck out of each other, and knocking each other out. Finally, it came to a point where we both had two prizes left. I had two pokemon: a 20HP-left Grimer on th bench and a Gengar active with exactly 10 on it. My cousin had a similar situation. we both knew we could Curse and then Dark Mind for a KO, but his Gengar had 60 on it. If he took out my Grimer, and had one prize left, I could do the same, but I would win with Dark Mind. We knew all our nifty trainers were in the last 20 or so cards in our decks, since we had not been getting hardly any before. We made an agreement and signed a piece of paper promising we would not use Curse. We held true to the agreement, and I ended up winning. So, when all else fails, negotiate!

Now, before we proceed, I would like to warn you against something: Mulligan Decks. You know how if your opponent doesn't draw a basic pokemon in their first 7 cards, they have to reshuffle and draw 7 new, and you get to draw 2 each time they do so? Well, mulligan decks are decks that take advantage of this rule. They normally only include 1 basic pokemon, and by the time they draw that pokemon, you're decked. I would establish a rule that there must be at least 8 basics in each player's deck. Hope that helps!

Next in line are some deck themes:
1. X-Men (Evolution or original; I prefer X-Men Evolution)
2. Dragons of Destruction (Gyardos(base, dark, and M's)+Kingdra+Lapras+Dragonair= what I think would be a good deck)
3. Spyro (Dragon deck, but slightly different)
4. 9/11/01 (I'm sorry if someone doesn't agree with me, but I think the least we PokePlayers can do is dedicate a deck to the tragedy. Rocket's Moltres shall represent the Rebirth of New York. Blaine's Moltres is another pokemon dedicated to the "Phoenix" theme; By the way, the Phoenix is a mythical bird of great beauty that is said to live for about 500 or 700 years, burn to death, and then rise again from its own ashes. New York.)

1. X-Men Evolution (I'm pursuing this one): Key figures: Sneasel (Wolverine), Fossil Haunter (Shadowcat), Sabrina's Gastly w/ Fade Out (Nightcrawler), Dark Golduck (Cyclops; well, it's shooting out a read blast anyway), Base Mewtwo (Jean Grey), Slowking (Professor X), Forettress (Spyke), Clefable (Rogue). Treat this idea like a smorgusboard: take what you want and leave the rest.
2. Dragons of Destruction: I've already listed the main pokemon in this deck.
3. Spyro: Key figures: Dragonite (Spyro; it's the closest looking pokemon to him, all right?), Yanma (Sparx), Delibird (Sgt. Byrd; it's in Neo 3), Kangaskan (Sheila), Aipom (Agent 9), Meowth w/ payday (Moneybags), Marowak (Bently; at least it carries a club), Togetic (Zoe), Evee (The Fox-lady; I think its Alora, but I'm not sure. The name escapes me at this moment). Again, since the energies conflict, use the smorgusboard technique.
4. 9/11/01: The main idea here is to use cards that, even though they are hurt badly, never die. Focus Band, babies, and G's Machamp are cards considered. Again, I am not trying to make what happened a game, I am trying to pay tribute to the thousands lost in the Day That Changed America.

What, did you think I was just going to GIVE you a deck? No, that's not my style. I may provide inspiration, but I encourage one to be creatie and come up with the actual deck on their own.

Fly right,
Nite owl
