Hey everyone, this is Brock with my first post. I'm
gonna talk about a couple of combos today, and at least once a week I will
send in an ORIGINAL deck idea. Well, here we go! I have 5 combos today.
1. Lanturn(Neo 3)/Lanturn/Blastoise/Devolution
Spray
The Pokemon Power is the only important aspect of the
Neo 3 Lanturn. It allows you to change his type from electric to water once
per turn.
First, you set up using a BBP l;ike Chansey while you
set up. Once Blastoise and Neo 3 Lanturn is in play, use Lanturns Pokemon
Power. Rain Dance a lot of energy down, and use Devo Spray or Hyper Devo
Spray. Next turn, evolve your Chinchou into Neo 1 Lanturn, and you have a
big attack going!
2. Rocket's Snorlax/Drowzee(Team Rocket)
This is a pretty weak combo. Have a Rocket's Snorlax
active, along with multiple Drowzee on the bench. Use their Pokemon Powers,
and if they fail, nothing bad really happens!
3. Lt. Surge's Magneton/Movie Promo Mewtwo
On the first couple of turns, use Mewtwo's Energy
Absorbtion to absorb some Electric energy and Psychic Energy. Then use
Psyburn for a while. Soon, you can retreat for Lt. Surge's Magneton and pick
up all of Mewtwo's Electric Energy, allowing you to be ready to deal 50 a
turn!
4. Rocket's Moltres/Typhlosion
Have a Rocket's Moltres active, along with 3 or 4
Typhlosion on the bench. Attack with Rocket's Moltres until it faints, then
return it to your hand and play it to your bench. You can then pick up all
of the energy from the discard pile that he lost, and you're already all set
up!
5. Typhlosion/Energy Flow/Hyper Devolution
Spray
Trans
Hyper Devolution Spray
Trainer
Effect: Return the top evolution card from on of your
Pokemon to your hand. This counts as evolving that Pokemon.
This combo is only useful when using Moltres, or
Arcanine's Flamethrower. Play Typhlosion to get energy, then use the Devo
Spray. next turn, do ti again, and repeat until you have no more Hyper Devo
Sprays. Then use Energy Flow to return that boatload of possible 16 energy
to your hand.
