My strategy on the propper
use of te Scyther Promo# 45...
Well to start off: This Scyther has a good 60HP. Not to shabby for
a basic pokemon. It has it's fire weakness and its fighting resistance
-30, and a 1C retreat cost.. And besides the great artwork it has, Its
one of the greatest cards around!
Attacks: GG Slashing Strike: 40
Scythers can't use this attack on your next turn.
(Benching or evolving Scyther ends this effect)
Alright, your thinking: "What a gip!" So STOPPIT! The right way to
use this card. Have the 2 G energy on scyther to attack. Use the
Slashing Strike attack for 40 and figure Weakness/Resistance.
Your opponants turn. Then your turn. Smack down a Neo-Genesis
Hoppip on your bench. Add annother energy to scyther for the retreat
cost. Retreat and bring out the little Cottonweed pokemon, then send him
flying back to the bench, switching him for his big bad buggy buddy
Scyther! And you can use his Slashing Strike attack on this turn!
Use this technique if you play the Promo#45 Scyther. It's HIGHLY
effective! It's worked for me. But it has its drawbacks... such as
fainting Scyther/Hoppip... and anny energy removal techniques.
