I'm a Gyarados fan, I truly think Gyarados is one of the best, and when Misty's Gyarados came out, I went ballistic, 70 damage?? Woooooo, this puppy was made for damage, but the poképower most people would say...hey hey hey, there's Goop Gas Attack to sole that lil' problem.....My Deck is a Murderer because off this lil' Strategy.....NEWAYZ, back to my point, I placed Blastoise in my deck and use him to pump my guys up, like M. Gyarados.....and after I pump him up I'm guaranteed 4 kills by using Goop Gas Attack, and if the guys is a lil' buffer just use Misty, which very few Pokémon can handle....thats 90 damage for the record.....if they're not fire.....oh I might as well mention I usually beat Haymakers, FIRE, GRASS and ELECTRIC decks, they're the only ones I ever get. This is a very devastating card, when used properly, and even w/o Goop Gas Attack, you still have a good chance of doing major damage, on a pokémon, you have two chances to get heads...b! etter than just one.
