-I have top 10 reasons why to use Cleffa

5. Baby rule vs. Top Pokemons

As Allan posted, Cleffa can be knocked out in one turn by super pokemons,
let me list them.

Basic Powers
- Hitmonchan
- Rocket's Zapdos
- Scyther
- Magmar
- etcs.

Super Pokemons
- Wigglytuff
- Sneasel

Face it, with no bans in Pokemon, these are the cards you'll probably see
in every deck. Okay, now is my reason why Cleffa is good.

Pros: Cleffa is the most annoying pokemon. With Sneasel, Zapdos and
Wigglytuff, 'any'(except the mighty staller Chansey) pokemon can be knocked
out in a turn or two(not to mention plus power). Cleffa's baby rule allows
you to stay on your lucky toes for atleast an average of 2 rounds. It allows
you to stall before bringing out your good pokemons to bring sneasel and
wigglytuff down. Remember that you don't need to put an energy on Cleffa
everytime you play it.

Personal Experience: I've fought with a cleffa stall deck and it took me 6
rounds before knocking it out.

4. 30 HP vs. Basic/evolving Pokemons

If you are playing a Blastoise deck, you'll probably know what I mean.
30 is a good trade for a baby rule instead of normal basics with 40 - 50 HP
only. In addition, baby power unlike normal smokescreen or other effects
that end once your opponent benches or evolves his/her pokemon.

Personal Experience: I play a Kingdra deck whose Horsea always get knocked
out.

3. Eeeeeeek!

Unlike Elm, this works with Lass, even chaos gym. With Wigglies and
Sneasels everywhere, you cannot escape the fate of choas gym. Another
arch-enemy of the every popular Slowking. If you have a bad hand, eeeeeeek!
for a better one.

Personal Experience: You'll know the power of Cleffa when you face an
opponent playing a Slowking/trapper deck. I got a lucky draw with Cleffa and
Kingdra my way into the Slowkings.

2. Trap vs. Trapper

We must admit that Cleffa is best against trapper, but if you were to
analyse carefully, it fits in totally with
-lass
-sneasel
AND
-TRAPPER DECK
While playing Chaos gym, killing your opponent's hand, you can still
eeeeeeek! for a fresh hand to get your 4/60 dark energy on Sneasel or 4/60
double colouress. A good option to prevent decking and filling up your bench
at the same time with a bonus of disabling your opponent!

1. There are plenty, good for metagaming!

It all depends on your style. Some decks take Cleffa as useless but
some decks just couldn't live without it. Like the deck I'm currently
working on, rascal and the Big Dark Brother deck. If you wanna know about
the deck, mail me at splitflow@hotmail.com

Bonus: It looks too adorable to kill!

other minor reasons: free retreat to aid another free retreat against smokes
and other effects.

Baby's real weakness: bench hitting pokemons!
