10. Hitmonchan- Ok, this pokemon is still pretty good. There maybe a lot of fighting resisters, but he still deserves number 10. His jab is still one of the best one energy attacks in the game, (with the exception of Dark Jolteon's Lightning Flash or Rocket's Zapdos's Plasma) 70hp is still great and special punch still kicks butt. He's a high retreater, but a lot of good pokemon are. I'd rate him an 8.0

9. Arcanine- His stats are sweet, 100hp for a stage 1 is awesome, his flamethrower is sweet is ok, his take down is nice with defender and even though his retreat cost is high, you can use switch or scoop up.
No resistance to fire helps his rating even more. I'd give him an 8.3

8. Chansey- This pokemon has the best hp of any pokemon. He has a good attack in double edge. Even though he does damage to himself, defender can help or you can use scoop up. Chansey also works great with Alakazam with two combos. One is Chansey Alakazam and Scoop up, the other is Chansey Alakazam and Narrow gym. He does really good in stall decks and even Haymaker decks if you have DCE. I think he is great, but I'd give him an 8.5

7. Erika's Jigglypuff- The card is awesome, You can knock out any pokemon with this card, even Chansey! You'll have to have to have four digger and four pluspower with four heads, which is highly unlikely. Still, win you're games with Erika's Jigglypuff on the first turn! I think Erika's Jigglypuff deserves an 8.8 because after the 40 damage, you only do 10.

6- Rocket's Scyther- Use Shadow images first turn and then Blinding scythe for some very quick defense and damge! This card is better then Scyther in Grass decks and even though you can't use him in every deck, he belongs in every grass deck. I'd give him a 9.0

5. Blastoise- Rain dance isn't very very popular anymore, but a turn two Blastoise will still be hard to stop! You can use him with Dewgong, Articuno, Gyarados and probably a few more water pokemon His power still rules and I'd give him a 9.3

4. Meganium w/ wild growth- His power is probably the best pokemon power there is. He'll work great with Venusaur and he'll spice up the grass line a lot. His attack is good too, doing 40 damage and auto sleep. I'd give him a 9.5

3. Scyther- This card is still one of the best. He works even better now with the Meganium Venusaur combo, and you can use use him in any deck still, He's still great, and he deserves a 9.7

2. Electabuzz- The best basic of all time. Try to paralyze them with Thundershock first turn, then destroy them with Thunderpunch. Just watch out if you use pluspower, if you get tails on Thunderpunch you'll do 10 more damage to yourself as wellas to your opponent. I'd give Electabuzz a 9.8 only because of his retreat cost.

1. Wigglytuff- This pokemon rules games around the world. Even with sprout tower it still can do 30 damage for three colorless, which is average. Wigglytuff is so easy to get out on turn 2, and with Cleffa he's even easier. He wins games so easy and he deserves a perfect 10.
