Skyridge Magneton

Well, this card is supposed to suck as it has 'Magneton' in it's title, but it's actually the best Magneton ever created! Yes folks, WotC finally gave us a playable Magneton, rejoice!

It has 80 hp, that's pretty good for a stage 1. It doesn't have godly bottom stats, but 1 retreat is better than 2, and that's what the majority of the stage 1s have these days. Weakness to fighting is always bad, as long as tyrogue leaves lightning is in trouble. It has no resistance, quite like the rest of the other lightning pokes.

Remember what I said at the beginning? Yes, this card is playable because it has a pretty sweet power. You can keep attacking all the time if you combo it with Hyper devolution spray. And the power doesn't have a 'Active-only' side effect, so it is pretty nice. And if you don't have enough energy, you can use 1 Lightning at a time so the attack won't waste 2 other energies!

The attack is average, 40 for LCC, and you may discard all L to do damage to bench. This is a pretty good baby killer, as LLL would do 40 to active and 30 to a benched <insert baby pokemon here>.

Unlimited: Ha. Ha. Ha. Can you say 'Hitmonchan'?! 1/5

Neon: This is where this card shines. Although the abusement of Tyrogue cuts it down, it is a pretty good stage 1, and can easily be a supporter for a Big Lightning, like Amphy or something. 3/5

Draft: No, bad move. There are better cards, and I doubt you can draft more than 1 anyway, SK is pretty big. 2/5
