many people don't use donphan because they don't think it is a great attacker.
 
how to play donphan style:
 
pump up your donphan as fast as u can.
if you do get damage, use flail to do some damage.
if donphan has 40HP or more damage it would be wise to attach a gold berry.
when you finally have put 3 fight energy's under donphan your ready.
 
his rapid spin attack does 50HP damage,
 
(this is the cool part)your opponent has to swith his pokémon if he has a benched pokémon,
if his pokémon is knocked out your opponent has to choose a pokémon.
 
then it's your turn , you also must switch donphan with a pokémon on your bench.
your opponent must already have chosen a new active pokémon before you switch donphan.
this the part where u use your  baby Pokémon.
switch donphan with one of your baby Pokémon.
use his attack to switch him with one of your pokémon cause donphan has a high retreatcost.
 
 
it really doesn't matter wich baby pokémon you choose, cause we use him for his/her baby power,
and the fact that all baby pokémon have no retreatcost.
 
 
also the trainer gust of wind is very usefull to beat up a pokémon faster.
with a plus power u can easily kill those irritating sneasel pokémon with one blow.
an extra advantage is that most players get pissed off when there active pokémon get switched all the time.
