I am replying to the message from ZakuII about getting

Metal Energy faster...

1. Energy Retrieval- So your opponet uses E.R./S.E.R.;

you E.retrieval and its back to your hand. Since

darkness is a basic

energy card but you can only 4 in a deck, right?

(Energy Retrieval:  Trade 1 of the other cards in your

hand for up to 2 basic energy cards from your discard

pile.)

(Sorry my friend but Darkness Energy Card is a special

Energy Card; but the Darkness Energy is of course

Basic Energy, so energy retrieval cannot retrieve

those Darkness Energy because the card that provides

the Darkness Energy is NOT a basic energy card...)

2. Super Energy Retieval- same as #1

(Sorry again, but this applies to energy retrieval...)

3. Energy Search- just search for metal and dark

energy

(Energy Search:  Search your deck for a basic energy

card and put in into your hand.  Shuffle your deck

afterward.)

(Again, the Darkness Energy CARD is NOT a basic energy

card...)

4. Nightly Garbage Run- get pokemon and those

energies!

(All of this still applies to the Darkness Energy Card

being a special energy card.  Yes, you can retrieve

pokemon and basic energy, but NOT the Darkness Energy

Card...)

5.Energy Charge and Energy Arc- close to #1 but no

cigar

(Energy charge works because it states that you may

shuffle up to two energy cards into your deck, but

doesn't say anything about basic energy cards.)

(Energy Arc is just a energy search with two flips to

try to get two BASIC--not special--energy cards...)

I hope that this information clears up your

understanding of your strategies and explainations of

the cards that you have stated in your well-written

TCG Tips...  If I have offended you in anyway, I am

truly sorry because I didn't intend this to be a

bashing or flamming in anyway.
