I was playing a game at pokemon league against a rocket's zapdos, when I got my pupitar out.  It's skull bash attack(20 damage for two colorless) is decent in some situations, but not against fighting-resistance like zapdos, so I rolled out Dust Devil(two fighting, does 10 damage to each pokemon that's non-fighting, doesn't count weakness/resistance).  Zapdos can't hurt it without electroburning, which could be fatal because of dust-damage.  You can also add a pluspower for an extra 10 damage.  Even better, you damage your opponent's benched non-fighting pokemon too!  Even worse, if your deck is not pure fighting you could be knocking out your own pokemon.  I DO NOT RECOMEND THAT YOU PUT THIS IN A DECK THAT IS NOT PURE FIGHTING!  I almost learned that the hard way by almost killing my squirtle.  I had to stop dust deviling so my squirtle could evolve into blastoise and finish my weakened opponent.  It's got a good 70 hit points and a retreat cost of only one, which is good, considering it's not a hit-and-runner like scyther.  Electric resistance.  However, it has a weakness to grass.  A scyther with pluspower (or if it used swords dance, for that matter).  It's good against rocket zapdos and even better against Buzz.  It also works okay, not great, against pokemon that normally have fighting resistance, like Wiglytuff.  But beware of grass-types, and also watch for Gligar.  It's a fighting type with fighting resistance, and nothing pupitar has will save you.  I give it 7.5/10

Larvitar STINKS!  40 HP.  10 damage for one colorless.  Weakness to grass.  Electric resistance.  1.5/10 (the .5 is for the resistance).

Tyranitar is pretty good.  This dark-type has 100 HP, psychic resistance, and retreat cost of three, so have a switch or two in your deck.It has two attacks, slam and trample.  Slam does 30 for each heads of two flips.  With a pluspower, you can take out Buzz, Mag, Chan, Rocket's Chan, Jynx, Rocket's Zap, Scyther, and Rocket's Scyther.  Trample is far more risky.  For two dark and two colorless, this attack does fifty damage and you flip a coin for each benched pokemon(yours too) and if heads, do 30 damage to that pokemon.  You could see it as destroying your opponent or ans suicidal.  if you like it, put some comp. searches in your deck to help get the dark energy out. But, be careful when you evolve because you lose the electric resistance for psychic.  also, beware of Unown D.  this card gets a 7.5/10

Finaly, one more good thing is that you can include this line in any deck.  They all have colorless attacks and you can put dark anywhere you want.
