Hello, this is Andrew Ketchum again here with a tip. It’s
not a card tip, but an intelligent tip none the less. Every day I get on Pojo’s
website in search of useful tips, but when I come to the TCG Tips And
Strategies all I find is complaints and tips older than my grandma. There is,
however a few semi-useful tips, but not nearly enough. When I am scrolling down
the latest posts, this is what it usually looks like:

Aerodactyle+Mew-No Duh! man
RE:Second turn damage puzzel-joe blow
Unown D+Tyranitar-Mr.Obvious
Exeggutor+Meganium-John Doe
Why Slowking sucks-Billy-Bob
Murkrow+Piloswine-by: that one guy
Ways to beat Igglybuff-whoever
Why Neo Discovery sucks-Whine baby
Blastiose+Feraligatr-such-and-such
Re:State of Pokemon-Dull boy
Yeah, I know that there are alot more submissions that are
not in any way, shape, or form similar to these. However, the majority ARE
similar to these. It insults our intelligence for people to assume that we don’t
know these strategies and to send it in. But if that person would scroll down
to a little bit later in the month they would see that it has already posted by
5 other people. And to those who are complaining about how bad Pokemon is
getting.....get off your lazy ass and do something about it! How is telling
people that Pokemon sucks and is getting boring and stupid going to
help it get better? IT’S NOT!!! Instead of complaining, why don’t you try
going to your local league and observing what is making it so bad. I can only
think of 2 things that are hurting the game of Pokemon: Unoriginality (is that
a word?) and Gripers. (Griping is just a sugar-coated word for bitching). The
Unoriginality is from the people who don’t have a mind of their own and go out
and build a replica of a Sneasel,Slowking,and Haymaker deck. Now I’m not saying
that those are bad decks,I’m just saying that they aren’t original. To tell you
the truth,I’ve never lost to any of those types of decks (then again,I’ve only
battled a total of 10 decks in that category). I think that people should try
their own ORIGIONAL decks (No,i’m not saying switch around some of the trainers
in your Slowking deck and call it original). I’m saying that there are other
cards out there that are good and are very playable. Beedrill (base is better,I
think),Neo Discovery Xatu,Fossil Genger, Neo Discovery Butterfree, just to name
a few. I’m not trying to get you to change your decks, I’m just suggesting that
you experiment with some new deck ideas. A good way to stumble across a good
and overlooked card is to look at card listings and at their attacks. You might
just be surprised what you find. And about the whiners, please don’t turn TCG
Tips & Strategies into a gripe session. If you want to gripe go to your
local league and walk up to all the kids there and gripe to them non-stop like
you do on here and see how many friends you make. Well, that’s all for
