Before I get to my next absent-minded card comboing madness, let me set a couple of things straight. I am a TCG player that believes in using cards that nobody uses in new and unusual ways that nobody ever imagined possible. I usually don't use the overly powerful guys like Sneasel because I feel that just takes the game and wads it up into a big paper ball of nothing but "Kill, Kill, KILL!!!" I have fun with the game. I know people who believe the game is tournament after tournament. I don't think this way. I hope we can all try to have fun with it sometimes. Isn't that the point? To make a long story short, I do not want ANY emails about "What I experienced in a tournament", because I will consider it a bunch of blah blah blah and "I'm so much better than you are". That will find your name on my Block Sender list.
I'm not here to shoot my head off, just to have fun! Now, Dark Flareon!

Let's look at the Team Rocket variation of this little firestarter:

Dark Flareon
Stage 1-Evolves from Eevee
50HP
color:Fire
Weakness:Water
Resistance:none
Retreat:1
Attack: Rage (C)      10+
This attack does 10 damage plus 10 more damage for each damage counter on Dark Flareon
Attack: Play with Fire (RR)     30+
Use this attack only if there are R energy cards attached to Dark Flareon. Flip a coin. If heads, discard one R energy card attached to Dark Flareon and this attack does 30 damage plus 20 more damage; if tails, this attack does 30 damage.

Okay. I know what you're thinking. "50 HP! Yuk! What's Rage doing on a Pokemon with only 50 HP?!" If you take a closer look at Rage, you'll notice that it only costs one colorless energy. Other pokemon with Rage cost something more; Cubone takes FF and it only has 40HP! Now, this can be comboed...

1. Darkness Energy+Pluspower--If you haven't already noticed, Dark Flareon has that lovely word "Dark" in its name. That means it can take Dark Energy and use it without killing itself. Now add a PlusPower and a full 40 Damage and we've got...70 Damage!!! Now, why is 70 so important? Electabuzz, Magmar, Hitmonchan...you get the picture.
2. Gold Berry--Get 40 Damage, Gold Berry, then Rage. Nuff said
3. Alakazam--Move 40 onto Flareon, Gold Berry, Play Dark, Pluspower, and continue the cycle. It takes quite a few cards, but it just must work if you're patient.

Here's what a deck that has Dark Flareon might look like:

"Just Plain Angry!"
Pokemon
4 Eevee (Jungle)-Not playing with fire(get it?) so let's use the one with 30 on turn 1
3 Dark Flareon-the main player of course
4 Abra(Rocket)-Alakazam
2 Alakazam(Base) Shift Damage to DF and ATTACK!
1 Dark Alakazam-Just for fun, also uses dark energy, avoids resistance
2 Gastly(Fossil)-Get dark energy back and stall
2 Chansey(Base)-NO Alakazam Deck is complete without some-good attacker in a pinch
(18)
Energy
10 Psychic
3 Dark
4 DCE
(17)
Trainers
3 Oak-Don't leave home without him!
3 Digger- If you think I'm crazy, think about DF for a sec...
3 Pokemon Breeder-Stage 2 requires this
3 CPU Search-Anything you want just for 2 useless cards
3 Item Finder-Reuse is good
3 Pluspower-10 extra damage is good
3 NGR-Shove some good stuff back in your deck
4 Gold Berry-Whoops! I left this out! We all make mistakes! Anywho, 40 on DF, Gold Berry, then attack!
