Here's the stats: Gengar Stage 2-Evolves from Haunter 80HP Color: Psychic Weakness: None Resistance: Fighting -30 Retreat Cost: C Pokemon Power: Curse Once during your turn, before you attack, you may move a damage counter from one of your opponent's Pokemon onto another one(Even if it would knock that Pokemon out). This Power can't be used if Gengar is Asleep, Confused, or Paralyzed. Attack: PPP Dark Mind (30) If your opponent has any Benched Pokemon, choose one of them and this attack does 10 damage to that Pokemon(Don't apply Weakness and Resistance for Benched Pokemon). Alakazam: Me: Oh, quit your bellyaching. BTW, that's one of Gengar's good points. NO Weakness. But I think we should focus on using that Power to our advantage. Curse can be used in many different ways, but here are the most useful, IMO: 1. Meditate: Move damage onto the Defending Pokemon an then attack with a Meditate attack! This will also work with Sabrina's Hypno's Pendulem Curse. 2. KO: Obviously, if the DP has 10HP left, move damage from a BP to the Active and get a KO AND still attack! 3. Save damage: If your next attack will KO the DP, then move damage to another Pokemon to keep the cycle going. 4. Damage Swap in your face!: If they have 2 Chanseys on their bench and one has 11 counters and the has 1 or more, then just simply move one onto the Chansey to KO it! There are other uses, but I found these most effective. Now mix and match a couple and bingo! A deck: Ghostly Encounters Pokemon 4 Gastly(Fossil!)-Only thing that I've found a use for Base Gastly is to laugh as it gets KO'ed. Also makes a great bookmark. 1 Haunter(Fossil!)-Same goes for Base Haunter! 3 Gengar-Star of the show 2 Mr. Mime-Meditate+Curse=Dead 2 Jynx-See Mr. Mime 3 MP Mewtwo-Any Psychic deck better not get caught without some of this guy 1 Porygon(TR)-Change Weakness to Psychic, retreat, kill. 1 Cleffa(Genisis)-Don't leave home without it! (17) Energy 14 Psychic (14) Trainers 4 Oak-NO EXCUSES FOR NOT HAVING OAK IN YOUR DECK!!! 4 CPU Search-See Oak 4 Item Finder-See Oak 3 NGR-Notice a trend?(Notice a trend?) 3 Resistance Gym-Psychic Decks better not leave home without this! 4 Pluspower-Gives Meditate a jump-start 3 Pokemon Breeder-Stage 2 requires this! 3 GOW-Gust the one with lotsa damage or the one that can't hurt Mime! 1 Focus Band-A little thing to use with Haunter!
