Hitmonchan- fights good against Electabuzz. great starter.

scyther- he has a resistance against hitmonchan + it has 0 retreat
and a colorless slash attack.

persian- I'm no more scared of mr. mime, persian takes care of him. he
has great attacks to.

lapras- fights well against fire decks. And i love his confusion ray.

all my pokemon portects each other, and that is very important.
