Subject: Elekid - Chris Rohan

    What's the first name of a card that comes to mine when you think of 
modified? Most likely it's Feraligatr or Typhlosion.  But why isn't Crobat or 
Slowking? What about Elekid? First glance of this card and you put it down 
and move on. But if take a closer look, you might find your new ally. Now of 
course, Elekid isn't for every deck, but if your running something fast, then 
try Elekid. He's ]can do a possible 20 on first turn. It ignores baby powers 
and focus band, plus has a baby power of his own. Most likely if your running 
something without a Pokemon power, you've included Pichu. I love Pichu. But 
if get stuck with only him on your first few turns, your pretty much screwed. 
Pichu has to wait for the opponent to set up - Elekid doesn't. Of course 
there's the flip, but would you rather just do 10, or have the ability to do 
20 first turn? In most cases it's the 20.
