Okay, I'm here to name the Top 10 Pokemon of Gym Heroes and Gym Challenge.
This may be my first article, but I might know more than you think I do! You
may not agree with me, but please do not insult my opinion. Okay, here we
go...

10) Erika's Dratini
Erika's Dratini has placed 10th because of its ability to hold up against
Basic Pokemon. Its Pokemon Power, Strange Barrier, gives it the power to
reduce any Basic Pokemon's attack to ten. This is useful when you come up
against Haymakers. Second, Erika's Dratini has a decent attack that you can
use right away with a DCE. Tail Strike allows you to automatically deal 10
and 20 more if you flip heads.

9) Rocket's Moltres
This firebird is a weapon in a straight Fire deck. Fire Wall is a nice
40-for-3 attack with a chance of more damage if the opposing Pokemon attacks
next turn. Also, Rocket's Moltres' Pokemon Power, Rebirth, gives it the
ability to come back after it has been KOed. With all the new Grass type
cards coming around, this card is lethal.

8) Sabrina's Alakazam
First of all, Sabrina's Alakazam's Pokemon Power, Psylink, gives it the
ability to use any attack of a Psychic Pokemon that you have in play. In
other words, THIS CARD IS GREAT!! You could use Movie Promo Mewtwo's Psyburn
one turn, and use Kadabra's Recover the next! That's what makes this card so
cool in Psychic decks.  Plus, Sabrina's Alakazam has a second attack,
Megaburn, which does 60 with only 1 Psychic Energy and 3 Colorless. But, you
can't use this attack the next turn.

7) Erika's Vileplume
This Pokemon has a great attack, Mega Drain, which allows you to deal out 30
HP and recover 20. Second, Erika's Vileplume's PP is pure evil. If you are
attacked, you may flip to try to confuse the opposing Pokemon. This will help
you regain HP and KO your opponent. Way cool.

6) Sabrina's Gengar
Sabrina's Gengar is a great Pokemon. With 90 HP, this one's a real fighter.
The first of 2 great attacks, Dark Wave, does 20 and doesn't let your
opponent use Pokemon Powers until the end of their turn. The second attack,
Shadow Bind, deals out 40 and doesn't let the defending Pokemon retreat. I
recommend using this guy in Psychic decks.

5) Brock's Ninetales
Shapeshift, Brock's Ninetales' PP, is awesome. It allows you to put any
evolution card on top of it just as if you had evolved it. It's almost like a
Pokemon Breeder. Will-o'-the-wisp is also a great attack with 30-for-2. Again
I say, awesome.

4) Erika's Victreebel
The PP, Fragrance Trap, is like a Gust Of Wind. It may require a flip, but it
will keep your opponent biting their nails. With the great attack, Razor Leaf
(which is a 50-for-3), you'll be sure to see this Pokemon in the new Grass
decks.

3) Rocket's Hitmonchan
Crosscounter is outstanding. Flip a heads, and you can deal back 2x the
damage you were just dealt. The second attack, Magnum Punch, is a beautiful
50-for-3 attack. This Pokemon is wicked cool.

2) Rocket's Scyther
Shadow Images will drive your opponent nuts. It makes your opponent flip a
coin when he/she attacks until they get heads. Blinding Scythe is a solid
40-for-3 attack that will make your opponent go even more crazy while
he/she's trying to deal you some damage. Those attacks make this Pokemon both
an offensive and defensive Pokemon.

1) Rocket's Zapdos
With 70 HP, this Pokemon is sure to stay in for awhile. Second, its Plasma
attack deals 20 damage for 1 Lightning Energy, plus you can attach a
Lightning Energy from your discard pile to him. When you've built up to 3
Lightning Energies and 1 Colorless, you can Electroburn your opponent for 70.
The only bad thing is, you must deal 10 times the number of Lightning Energy
to yourself.

Please email me. I will gladly answer your questions and comments. Again, you
may not agree with what is above. I know that there are still a lot of great
Gym Pokemon that were not listed. Please take note of that before you email
me. Bye!
