I'm replying to a strategy written on the 26th of January. To which I don't
agree. This person wrote about the 2 Gengars, and while I love the little
eidons, I can't agree with his article. Here's the article if you don't
remember:
Gengar and Sabrina's Gengar Lv. 39

WARNING: The use of these two cards together may result in you winning
battles.  If you do not want to win, DO NOT use these cards.  Thank you.

OK, picture this.  Your opponent has an almost full bench, say around four.
You have just evolved your Haunter into Gengar as your Active Pokemon.
Also, you have a Sabrina's Gengar on your bench.  They both have 3 Psychic
energieson them.  You use Dream Eater on your opponents active Pokemon which
is Hitmonchan.  He takes 60 damage.  On his turn he attacks but does none or
10 damage due to resistance.  On your next turn you retreat your Gengar for
Sabrina's Gengar.  Use Gengar's Pokemon Power: Curse to move all the damage
counters to your opponents benched Pokemon.  Then using Sabrina's Gengar's
attack, Pain Amplifier, to add one damage counter to all Pokemon except
Hitmonchan.  On your opponents turn they either do 10 or nothing.  On your
turn, you use Call of the Night to K.O. Hitmonchan.  It doesn't matter what
Pokemon your opponent brings in.  It will probably die.  See how good these
cards work together!  Thanks for reading the whole thing!

FQ: right. Not only was this whole article hypothetical, it was also
incorrect. Lemme go throught this bit by bit.

Wess(the author):WARNING: The use of these two cards together may result in

Thank you.

FQ: Uh-huh. Well, they're both Stage 2's, which is very unwise to have 2 of
in your deck.

Wess:OK, picture this.  Your opponent has an almost full bench, say around
four. You have just evolved your Haunter into Gengar as your Active Pokemon.
Also, you have a Sabrina's Gengar on your bench.  They both have 3 Psychic

FQ:You happen to have both Gengars out, with 3 psychic energy on them? With
enough card drawing this may be possible, but you're probably not gonna see
this every game.

Wess:You use Dream Eater on your opponents active Pokemon which is
Hitmonchan.  He takes 60 damage.  On his turn he attacks but does none or 10
damage due to resistance.

FQ: If your opponent has a bench of 4 Pokemon, and enough energy to do
Special Punch, why do they have Hitmonchan as the active? Plus, with all the
fighting resisters, no one likes to play 'chan anymore.

Wess:On your next turn you retreat your Gengar for Sabrina's Gengar.  Use
Gengar's Pokemon Power: Curse to move all the damage counters to your
opponents benched Pokemon.  Then using Sabrina's Gengar's attack, Pain
Amplifier, to add one damage counter to all Pokemon except Hitmonchan.  On
your opponents turn they either do 10 or nothing.

FQ: This is where you're wrong. Gengar's Curse works only once per turn, and
if you're suggesting that you have 3 more on the bench, I cannot believe
you. Plus, with Pain Amplifier, don't you absolutely have to add a damage
counter to Chan?

Wess:On your turn, you use Call of the Night to K.O. Hitmonchan.  It doesn't
matter what Pokemon your opponent brings in.  It will probably die.  See how
good these
cards work together!  Thanks for reading the whole thing!

FQ: again, totally hypothetical. What if they have a Sneasel, or Wiggly on
the bench? You're also saying you have to get 60 on the defender. What if
the defender isn't weak to Psychic? What if it's resistant? While this combo
is original, in today's enviroment, it would be torn to shreds. You're also
saying the opponent must have a 'Chan out. Even then, there are Gyms that
can hurt this Pokemon, like Resistance Gym. And both Gengars are slow to
build up, and by the time you get set, the opponent might have weakened you
enough, if not already won, so that there is no way you can win. If you're
into fun decks, go ahead and use the deck, but if you want to win, you'll
have to have something quicker than this. Thanx for reading everyone.
