There are three main pokemon that use the bench to inflict damage, one that
is in nearly every deck, one that is becoming an archetype, and one that has
barely seen the light of day. I'm talking about Wigglytuff, Sneasel, and
Dark Hypno.

I'm not gonna say Wiggly's stats (cuz most people know em) but everyone
knows Wiggly is one of the best in the game. 60+ damage second turn takes
out most basics and is a great help in any deck. The automatic sleep is
great against the dying out Mr. Mime and the popular Erika's Dratini if
their is no other option. Its threats are the dying out HITMONCHAN, Chansey
(high hp stall, 80 for the kill), Gligar (40 for a DCE and free retreat),
Rocket's Hitmonchan, Rocket's Scyther, Magmar, Arcanine, SER, Narrow Gym,
and ESPECIALLY SPROUT TOWER (but who uses that except Raindace and MP Mewtwo
decks since most decks have colorless in em). He deserves an 8.5

Sneasel is the strongest out of the three but uses an unbelievable amount of
energy (2 Darkness). Rainbow Energy, Energy Charge, and Eco Gym can help him
get around this. Great bottom stats; resistance to Psychic 30, free retreat,
too good right? Only if you can get him going (4 each of Rainbow and
Darkness per deck, 3 each 15/3), he has SER written ALL OVER HIM. SER may be
less common now but it's still out their, looking for that unsuspecting
Sneasel... And the 60 hp is not too impressive but no weakness, free
retreat, about 160 damage going each turn. This card is TOO GOOD. Its
dangers are Wigglytuff, Togepi (30 hp??? coin flip???), Togetic (coin
flip??? 60 hp Stage 1???), Clefairy (40 hp??? 3 energies???), Rocket's
Zapdos (70, he's gone), Magmar (Smokescreen), Rocket's Scyther (Shadow
images then Blinding Scythe + 2 PlusPowers), Rocket's Hitmonchan
(CrossCounter), CLEFABLE (full damage, 1 of any energy, no questions asked),
DITTO (one DCE does full damage) but who cares, it kos everything!!!. Of
course all this is just review from previous comments. He gets a 9.0 (in my
opinion of course)

Last and of course least is Dark Hypno. Stage 1, 2 retreat, Psychic (a lot
of resistance and weak to itself). Psypunch 1 Psychic energy and does 20, it
would be good if it weren't for all of the resistance (darn). Bench
Manipulation, 2 Psychic and 1 Colorless "Your opponent flips a number of
coins equal to the number of pokemon on his or her bench. This attack does
20 damage times the number of heads." That stinks! Averages 40-60 damage but
only when the opponents bench is full! Koga's Zubat who does 10 plus 10 more
for every Kogas's Zubat in play is almost better! This card never has, never
should, and never will be played. He gets a 2.5

-----------------

Some Pokemon copy the attacks of others. These are some of my favorites
(actually just Clefable). These take out the most powerfull pokemon easily
and are taken out by the weakest (ironic ain't it?).

Togepi (30 hp)(3.0), Toetic(6.5), Clefairy (40 hp)(5.0), Clefable (7.5) all
use some form of Metrinome. This attack is great on super damage inflictors
like Wigglytuff, Sneasel, Rocket's Zapdos, Base Zapdos, Pinsir/Rocket's
Mewtwo/Rocket's Hitmonchan/Rocket's Moltres/Hitmonchan(with a PlusPower).
Ditto (7.0) works differently though. He copies the pokemon and not just the
attacks, adding weakness and strength (mostly weakness). Ditto beats
Rocket's Zapdos, MP Mewtwo, Sneasel, Rocket's Blastoise (who uses this?),
ect.
He is koed by Clefairy and ANY BABY POKEMON (Cleffa and Magby are fairly
popular) allowing two kos on the same turn. Metal energy works really well
on Ditto though.

Note: in a Clefable deck, use the 50 hp Clefairy. it has 10 more hp and
doesn't do something stupid like flip for sleep. And always include
magnificantly marvelous Cleffa!!!
