Normally, I'm a simple lurker: I read the posts ,agree or disagree
without posting anything, and leave. But a post like this really annoys
me. So I had to post this article.

I consiter myself neutral in the Archetype/ no Archetype battle. While I
don't like Archtypes, I know that most of the players who play them are
creative, if not that original. But saying that  you play Archtypes to
get Magic card money.... You stated that, and i quote: "Pokemon is not a
game. It is a tool, for older kids to beat little kids in tourneys so
they can buy more Magic. Hey, WotC economy depends on it." Pokemon is a
tool? I know that some of those "little kids" are acually pretty good
players who like to play decks with their favorite Pokemon in them.  And
some of those older kids GIVE the packs of Pokemon they get with store
credit to be raffled off as extra prizes. Besides, since when did Pokemon
support WotC's economy? They've got Magic and a half-dozen other big
sellers to depend on.

In closing, if you don't play for fun, only for credit: Get some cash,
buy your own packs, and get out of the game. Leave it to the kids who
play it because they like to.
