I will tell you today who I think are the Top 10 Neo2 cards.this doesn't
include Dark Raichu, since it's already out in America, any Unowns, because they
are only good with other ones, and I don't wanna include 4 of the same
pokemon, and the Neo2 promo card set.I'll use their American and Japanese
names for the GS pokemon to avoid confusion.I'll rate each card on a scale of
one to ten.But first, here are my energy icons:C-
Colorless,F-Fighting,R-Fire,W-Water,P-Psychic,G-Grass,L-
Lightning,D-Darkness,M-Metal.So,here we go:

10.Tyranitar(Bangirasu)
Stats:Stage2Darkness
LV.54,100HP
CCC:Slam:30x:Flip 2 coins. This attack does 30 damage times the number of
heads.
DDCC:Mow Down:50:Flip a coin.If heads,this attack does 30 damage to each
Pokemon on both Benches(Don't apply weakness or Resistance to Benched
Pokemon.)
Weakness:None,Resistance:Psychic Retreat cost:CCC(Holo)

Wow.Mow Down is very powerful doing 70 damage to the active pokemon.Do bad it
can do damage to your own Bench, pretty good though.Nice HP,and bottom stats
besides the retreat cost of 3.Its unevolved forms suck, which can be a
problem.I'll give it a  6.5.

9.Omastar
Stats:Stage2Fighting
Lv.39,HP80
W:Squeeze:10+:Flip a coin.If heads,this attack does 10 damage plus 20 more
damage,and the defending Pokemon;if tails,this attack does 10 damage.
WWW:Maximum Spikes:20+:Flip a number of coins equal to the number of W
energies attached to Omastar. This attack does 20 damage plus 20 more damage
for each heads.
Weakness:Grass.Resistance:None.Retreat Cost:CC.Uncommon

Oh my gosh!Squeeze is incredible,on average doing 20 damage and 50% paralysis
for just 1 W energy!Maximum Spikes is nice too,doing at least 20 damage,and
if you use only the 3 water energies needed for the attack,on average,it will
do 50 damage. Retreat cost is a bit high, and weakness to the so many great
grass pokemon hurts too.I'll give it a 7.5.

8.Omanyte
Stats:Stage1 Fighting
LV.21,HP50
Pokemon Power: Revive Fossil:Once per turn(before you attack
),you may flip a coin.If heads, search your deck for a Pokemon that Evolves
from a Fossil and put it on your bench.Shuffle your deck afterward. This power
can't be used if Omanyte is Asleep, Confused or Paralyzed,or if your Bench is
full.(Treat Pokemon retrieved using this Power as Basic Pokemon.
W:Bind:10:Flip a coin.If heads,the defending Pokemon is now Paralyzed.
Weakness:GrassResistance:NoneRetreat Cost:C(Common)

Uh,oh.Can you say Fossil deck?Omanyte can!The Power is amazing, giving you the
ability to bring down an Omanyte,Kabuto,or Aerodactyl without Mysterious
Fossil. The Pokemon Power says it all:Revive Fossil. The attack is also
respectable, but the bottom stats and HP suck.Still a great card though.I'll
give it a 7.5

7.Forretress(Foretosu)
Stats:Stage1 Metal
LV.40,HP80
Pokemon Power:Rolling Snout:During an opponent's turn,if an opponent's active
Pokemon is switched with a Pokemon from the Bench, this Power deals 10 damage
to the Pokemon originally from the Bench(Don't apply Weakness or Resistance).
This power can't be used if Forretress is Asleep,Confused,or Paralyzed.
MCC:High-Speed Spin 30:If your opponent has any Benched Pokemon,he or she
chooses 1 and switches it with the Defending Pokemon. If you have any Benched
Pokemon, choose 1 and switch it with Forretress.
Weakness:FireResistance:grassRetreat Cost:CCC(Holo)

Remember that attack that made Dark Alakazam famous? Forretress has that in
High-Speed Spin.However,Forretress is a much better all-around Pokemon.It has
higher HP,even though it
is a Stage lower than DA,the Pokemon Power works with the attack as you can
see,and the Metal Energy makes it nearly impossible to knockout, plus it has a
Resistance to arguably the best type,Grass. The 3 retreat doesn't matter
because of the attack, but the weakness to fire does kind of hurt, and
Pineco(Kunigdama) is,in my opinion,terrible.What a card! I'll give it an 8.5.

6.Espeon(Eefi)
Stats:Stage1 Psychic
LV.45,HP80
CC:Bite 20
PPC:Psychic 30+:This attack does 30 damage plus 10 more damage for each
energy card attached to the Defending Pokemon.
Weakness:Psychic.Resistance:None.Retreat Cost:Free.(Holo)

What is there not to like?Maybe the weakness, but only if you're picky. The HP
is good,the attack(Psychic)is great,and,no retreat cost.Remember,you can use
the Promo Eevee's Pokemon Power with Espeon, because it says-A pokemon that
evolves from Eevee.It doesn't say,Flareon,Jolteon,or Vaporeon.The reason it
beat Forretress is because there's really nothing wrong with Espeon, while
Forretress has a couple bad points.I'll give it an 8.5

5.Beedrill
Stas:Stage2 Grass
LV.36,HP80
G:Triple Poison 10:Flip acoin.If heads,the defending Pokemon is poisoned.It
now takes 30 Poison damage instead of 10 or 20 after each player's(even if it
was already poisoned).
GGC:Pin Missile 20x:Flip 4 coins.This attack does 20 damage times the number
of heads.
Weakness:Fire.Resistance:Fighting.Retreat Cost:Free.(Holo)

You're mean! That's what your opponents will be saying when you use Triple
Poison. On average(I like to average attacks with flips)will do 25 damage for
1 energy,and if they don't retreat,an average of 55 damage!(Of course,no
attack does 5,15,25,etc.,but it gives you an idea of how good the attack
is.)Pin Missile does 40 for 3 on average which is good too.Combine that with
a free retreat and fighting resistance, and you've you've got one mean
Pokemon.Hp is a little low,and Weedle is horrible, but at least Neo2 Kakuna is
good.I'll give this card a 8.5,but nearly a 9.

4.Houndoom(Heruga)
Stage1 Darkness
LV.37,HP70
DCC:Crunch 30:During your opponent's next turn and your next turn, when an
attack damages the defending pokemon, add 20 to that damage.
RRC:Flamethrower 50:Discard 1 Fire energy Card from Houndoom in order to use
this attack.
Weakness:None.Resistance:Psychic.Retreat Cost:C (Holo)

Why is this card so high?Crunch, that's why!It already does 40, (Darkness
Energy)makes your next attack do 20 more.So?So next turn,Crunch does 60,and
keeps on going. What if Houndoom gets KO'ed?As long as you have a benched
Pokemon,it will also do 20 more.It really speeds the game up.It also has no
Weakness,a Resistance,and a quick 1 retreat cost.Only problem is its basic
form,Houndour(Deriberu)I'll give it an 8.5.

3.Butterfree
Stats:Stage2 Grass
LV38,HP80
GC:Miracle Phosphor Powder 20:Flip a coin.If heads,the Defending Pokemon is
either Poisoned,Asleep,Confused,or Paralyzed (your choice).
GGC:Hyper Reverse:This attack does 10 damage times the number of Energy Cards
attached to the Defending Pokemon. For each 10 damage dealt this way, remove a
damage counter from Butterfree.
Weakness:Fire.Resistance:Fighting.Retreat Cost:Free (Holo)

:-O.Wow,is this card amazing!Miracle Phosphor Powder is cheap, and extremely
mean!Whatever status effect you want,as long as you get heads, you've got
it.(Try using Confusion the Poison,or Paralyzation and Poison). And Hyper
Reverse!Wow! Does normally pretty good damage and heals itself! The only
problem with this card is Caterpie and Fire Weakness, but Neo2 Metapod is
awesome!Combine all that with free Retreat and Fighting Resistance, and you've
got a real winner!I'll give it a 9.

2.Kabutops
Stats:Stage2 Water
LV.42,HP90
C:Slash 20.
F:Hydro Cutter:Flip a number of coins equal to the number of Fighting Energy
cards attached to Kabutops. This attack does 40 damage times the number of
heads. You can only flip at most 3 coins in this manner.
Weakness:Grass.Resistance:None.Retreat Cost:CC. (Holo)

Broken alert!Hydro Cutter can do up to 120 damage for just 3 energies! On
average,(If you have 3 energies on it)it will do 60 damage for 3
energies, which is great, and it gets around Fighting Resistance because it's a
Water type.Combined with Kabuto's Pokemon Power(You can search your deck for
a Kabuto if you get heads on the coin flip and put it on your bench, treated
as a Basic.)you might see more than you can handle of this card. How good can
Neo2 possibly be?I'll give this card a 9.5.

1.Scizor
Stats:Stage1 Metal
LV.43,HP80
M:Blunt-end Strike:This attack does damage equal to the Defending Pokemon's
HP divided by 2(rounded down).
CCC:Metal Claw 20+:Flip 2 coins.This attack does 20 damage plus 20 damage
times the number of heads.
Weakness:Fire.Resistance:Grass.Retreat Cost:CC (Holo)

:-O !This card is sooooo broken! With a Darkness Energy, this attack kills
ANYTHING
in 2 hits!It won't take damage because of the Metal Energy from the
Darkness Energy, and is nearly impossible to KO,because of the Metal Energy
and it is so fast your opponent maybe, just maybe, will have time to blink.I
have this card in my deck, and when it is my active Pokemon in a battle,I HAVE
NEVER LOST!
You obviously can't say it has a weak basic, and resistance to
Grass just isn't fair.By the way, with the Darkness Energy,Double Claw, with
1 out of 2 coin flips getting heads,can kill a 50 HP Pokemon in 1 hit,so you
should use that attack instead of Blunt-end Strike while facing a 30,40, or
50 HP Pokemon. In my opinion, with the Darkness Energy attached,it is the best
Pokemon in the game.I'll give it an amazing 10!

Obviously,Neo2 is a great set.I do the Card of the Day(Similar to Ness)Just
email with the Pokemon you want to be the Card of Day,and i'll send it to
you(Including Neo2 and Neo3)Yes, I know what the Neo3 cards do!Anyway,here's
my email address: Scizor15@aol.com Please also tell me how to hyperlink my
Email because I don't know how.Thanx.Pojo rules!!!-Shaun
