ok base set charizard and recycle energy one of
the coolest combosi think. now base set charizard can do some major
damage but it takes a lot to power him up after you kept discarding 2 fire
energy a turn. yes i know with his pokemon power makes any energy card
attached to it turn to fire energy at any time during your turn before you
attack. now after that that energy is gone any ways the same as with the fire
energy so a lot of people that use charizard in there in deck use energy
retrivals to get those discard energy back or now with the edtion of neo
genius super energy retrivals. but both make you discard cards and thats not
good. so some used double corlerless energy in there deck but the energy
retrivals only let you take back basic energy cards and were double colorless
is not a basic energy card i don't belive you can retrive them back and
the odds of getting all the double colorless once it's used charizard will
have a hard time getting powerd up again to attack it would take 4 turns. so
thats were recycle energy comes in. energy removals are compleatly useless
agaisnt them becuse when there discarded they go back to the owners hand even
if the guy is knocked out it goes back to your hand that's cool so you can put
4 recycle and 4 double colorless in the deck and power charizard up in 2 turns
insted of 4 and if you want to get back you double energy use energy
charge. you have to flip a coin but you can get any energy back.
ps. the recyle energy can make up a number of
combos and it can help you when you need it for example it is good with dittos
and clefables and wigglytuff also helps you retreat and when you
don't want to discard a energy from one of your best pokemon if recycle energy
is attached to then it goes back to your hand this combo with super energy
removal work bes if you did not already play a energy because you can play it
from your hand as soon as you get it back.
