Hey everyone...

I have constantly heard and read arguments for and against the banning of
pokemon cards for a long time now and I figure I'll give my 2 cents on the
subject. First off... I DON'T (I repeat DON'T) believe that the banning of
pokemon cards like Hitmonchan oe Electabuzz is a good idea. But on the other
hand I do not think that the state of Pokemon cards as of now is
completely... how do I say... leveled ( I dont know what to say) Pokemon is
just become a game of speed and beatdown... while in minute quantities I see
those fun to play stradegy decks or even the occasional Blaine's Ninetails,
the vast majority of the pokemon world is archetypal. (sp?) With haymaker and
raindance and trapper and wiggly and sponge that just is built to WIN.
Nothing against their creators... I mean the decks are great they are just
VASTLY overplayed... Back to the subject... I believe (and some of you may
agree) that Wizards of the Coast doesn't give a rat's @$$ about the pokemon
TCG. It's just a way to make some CA$H! They have to be the first to wisen up
and do with pokemon what they did with MAGIC. First off... maybe they could
print there own sets once in a while... ya know come up with stuff on there
own... Second... although in your opinion this may contridict what I said in
the first few sentences, I feel Wizards should Restrict (not ban) several of
the heavily used trainers (namely SER, Oak, Item Finder, and Computer Search)
and maybe pokemon like Blastoise, Wiggly and several others that I just can't
think of at the moment. Resatrict these cards to about 1-2 a deck. Third...
If what I just said doesnt work... I think maybe wizards should do what they
did with MAGIC and that is ban older sets to make room for new ones... keep
about 3 sets (the most recent) and repriont older cards into newert sets.
Anywayts... I just believe that Wizards should just but a little more thought
and time and effort into making the Pokemon TCG a more FUN game for all of
us. (I mean that's what it is about isn't it)

Anyways that's just my opinion so I'll be signing out now...
