Jynx and Gengar are the perfect couple. Why? Because
Genger's Curse powers up Jynx's Meditate!!  By moving
damage counters onto the Defending Pokémon (or moving
them away if it is unnessary) Jynx's Meditate becames
more powerful!!  So that is why they make the perfect
fighting duo!  Plus,  they are both Psychic Pokémon,
so you can choose if you want a mono-type deck or
not!!
